VanS
.....on the offensive side of the ball. I still like Minkah Fitzpatrick over them when it comes to superstar potential at the next level. With that said, I'm typically not that high on players from Alabama because they tend to get overrated going into the draft. However, I feel very different about these two. I think both Harris and Waddle have big time superstar potential at the next level. Najee Harris is in my opinion the best RB to come out of Alabama since Shaun Alexander. He reminds me a lot of Le'Veon Bell with size, receiving skills, and patient style of running. Jaylen Waddle on the other hand reminds me a lot of Tyreek Hill with his speed and explosiveness. I think he's a better WR prospect than Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley, Jerry Jeudy, and Henry Ruggs III. I also don't want to overlook DeVonta Smith. He's not quite on the same level as Harris and Waddle but I also like his NFL potential. He reminds me somewhat of DeAndre Hopkins. He could be a star at the next level as well. These two are the best prospects to come out of Alabama since Julio Jones and Minkah Fitzpatrick. Edited October 20, 2020 by VanS
Rodjahs12
I like Devonta Smith more than both. No slight on either guy either I just believe Smith has a chance to be another Michael Thomas without the crazy problems

But I think Waddle has more game-breaking potential. Its why I like Tyreek Hill more than Michael Thomas or DeAndre Hopkins.
mse326
I don't know that I'd put Harris above Jeudy but I do love them both. I'm always baffled when people say Najee is overrated or won't be a good pro. Like what does he not well enough for you?
Bobby816
I don't know about all that. As for WRs. I think Cooper and Ridley and arguably (Jeudy and Ruggs) were better coming out than that of Waddle. Smith also is possibly just as good if not better than Waddle. For RB. I think you have to factor in several other Bama RBs. I like Harris a lot. And think he will be a star. But with the likes of Henry, Jacobs and even Drake in the NFL right now. He will have to be a star to right away be considered better than them. Ingram has had a respectable career as well. For me I think there's no way Waddle is more successful than the WRs drafted after Julio. But there is a chance that Harris can be the best of the RBs. Time will tell. On a side note... I hope the Jets draft either one of them or both.

I think his patience and vision look much better this season.
MagicMT
I thought last year that DeVonta Smith was the best WR on the team and I still think he'll be the best 'Bama WR in the pros (since Julio). And I really loved Cooper and Ridley. Waddle is a big play waiting to happen but I like him slightly less. Harris is just a monster. I think he'll be better or on par with King Henry (and better than Jacobs)
Chargers
Jaylen Waddle has special speed. He is going to be a superstar if he goes to the right team.
Tetsujin
I think Waddle is the superior prospect. I want him in the slot for Miami. Does Smith's slight frame bother anyone?

And for a RB that isn't as important as vision, patience, breaking tackles, and receiving skills. Its why I'm not that high on Travis Etienne. He's got the game-breaking speed but not much else. Najee Harris is the best RB prospect to enter the draft IMO since Saquon Barkley in 2018. Edited October 20, 2020 by VanS

With regard to Waddle, he might not put up the biggest numbers every year but like Tyreek Hill he will cause fear to opponents on every down because of his speed. I think he will be extremely dynamic at the next level. I personally favor a WR like Tyreek Hill who puts immense pressure on the defense because they fear his speed than receivers who might catch more balls each year. We are already seeing this with the Raiders and Ruggs. 16 more points per game for the Raiders when Ruggs has played and opens up the offense for the guys underneath like Waller and Renfrow.
Ozzy
Najee is playing amazing football right now but is arguably behind the best offensive line in college football as well. I love his footwork, ability to jump cut side to side, change directions and get up field. Awesome catching the football out of the backfield and blocking, to me he is better than Etienne because he is bigger and more rare athletically. Najee is a complete back no question. Waddle I love as well, amazing return man and has clearly big play potential as is so improve as a receiver, is probably the most explosive receiver in the up coming draft. Smith and Waddle are arguably better than the pair of Ruggs and Jeudy arguably. Smith is a hell of a competitor, love his hands and is so mentally strong and tough, apparently has an outstanding work ethic so that alone could make him a great pro overall, sure is a little thin but runs good routes, has great hands and can separate and plays bigger than he is.
