Jeremiah has him at 2 on his initial big board. https://www.nfl.com/news/daniel-jeremiah-s-top-50-2021-nfl-draft-prospect-rankings-1-0 Anything that helps Sewell get to us. I got Sewell Chase trade back for Darrisaw
THE DUKE
Sewell and Chase are the only guys at 5 where I say no to anything but an extreme overpay if offered a trade.
sparky151
If a team wants to trade up to 5, it would be for a QB, not for Sewell, Chase, Parsons, etc. The going price for a franchise QB on a trade up is a couple of first round picks plus something else, either a current year pick or a player. Jets gave up 3 2nd rounders to move from 7 to 3 to take Darnold. Chiefs gave up a couple of firsts and something else to move up a lot for Mahomes. Bills paid the going rate in moving up for Josh Allen (after trading up with Bengals by giving us Cordy Glenn. Thanks!). If a team is sold on Wilson or Fields and the other one is off the board, then we may get a good offer. But some team will take Lance in round 1 and try to make him their QB of the future. Maybe Mac Jones or Trask get drafted high too. There could be 6 first round QBs. You guys are really overrating Chase. He's a good prospect and maybe Jeremiah's Anquan Boldin comparison will prove apt. Boldin was a 2nd round pick and certainly outperformed his draft position. But he probably wasn't the 2nd best player in that draft. Without looking it up, there's probably more than 1 player in Boldin's draft class with a better HoF case than him. SmittyBacall
Last nights game was great example of how important OL play is. Not even the best QB in the league can overcome poor protection, no matter how good his weapons are.

Mahomes is amazing and can overcome it sometimes, but it just didn't come together last night.
INbengalfan
Mahomes probably got about 8 miles in from running for his life.

He was pressured on 54% of his drop backs in total, which I would wager was the highest % of his career. It got to the point where he was bailing out of pockets prematurely. You could replay this game 10 times over, I think the results generally remain the same.
sparky151
Bullet dodged, Press Taylor has been hired by the Colts. Might strengthen the Wentz to Colts rumors.

Maybe. Or totally destroy them if Press preferred Hurts
