Is Bruce Arians the Coach to Pair with Aaron Rodgers?

LaFleur is still learning how to be a head coach. I think he's improved from last year, and he'll continue to do so. It's just that in real time the learning curve isn't this linear upward trajectory.

Bruce has always had success with a veteran quarterback running the offense.

His personality seems like it would fit perfectly with Rodgers.

Did the Packers make the mistake of going with Matt Lafleur?

I think Arians had specific teams he was willing to coach for and Tampa Bay was one of them...

I personally can’t judge LaFleur until he gets his DC and his QB.

What I can say is that of all the hires and all the candidates available that year, there isn’t one I would rather have had, and there isn’t one who would have done better with what LaFleur has.

It’s also hard to judge him based on Pettine.  If he has the power to make a move there and he doesn’t, I will absolutely judge him for it.

His defense has been inexcusably bad against average or better offenses.
