I don't think people often put something on paper in the heat of the moment without regretting it later.

I can think of emails, etc. I have typed directed towards people where I have thought better and deleted it before sending.  Better to at least sit on it.  Sleep, if you feel the same the next day, maybe there's more reason to hit send.

Yep.

For athletes or celebrities even more so.  Honestly pay some college kid 10-15k a year to manage your social media with the directive of being fun and positive.

Don’t let your emotions impact your public image.

Ugh they will be tough. We always play them terribly.

I always hate playing the Raiders because it brings back childhood memories of Red Right 88. Still wish they had just tried the field goal to win it lol :)

I made that mistake once in Iraq when I got back from a mission where we had lost some folks and I cut lose on the Company commander for idiotic decisions in an email I sent out to the whole company. I regretted it later and thought for sure I was going to get busted for it. To his credit, he manned up, replied cordially and let it slide.

I wish the people I put on blast would apologize to me later on.

For real though, that is a sign of humility when people are able to admit fault instead of letting their pride get the best of them.

Still taught me to always sit on a reply, or at least think twice before hitting reply/send.

The number of replies I have started here over the years, and then said "screw it, it is not worth it" before deleting is quite massive lol.

I wish I had the same option for restraint in-person.

When people tick me off in person, it's a bit harder to sit on and decide whether or not to put a reaction out there.

PFF with lofty comparison 👀

I don’t think he is Gronkowski by any means but for real though, I think he is going to be a really good starter for us and has the potential to be one of the better tight ends in the NFL. He reminds me of Jordan Cameron only without the injury concerns to this point and may be a little bit better filled out/polished.
