THE DUKE
I've never been one to have a bad ending sour an entire show for me. Honestly, most shows end badly. Every now and then you get a pitch perfect ending like Cheers, but it's by far the exception and not the rule.

It wraps up well enough at Season 4 since they planned on being cancelled that you can be happy with that ending. This is true, but I cant do that. There is something in me that no matter how bad I know something is, I will follow those characters to that hellscape every time. It was the same with Dragon Ball GT everytime I went through DBZ (thank god for Super). The biggest offender is Scrubs. Scrubs season 8 WAS the finale. Season 9 was spinoff in every sense but name. But JD, Turk, Kelso, and Cox are in it so I watch it every time despite the fact that season 8 is the perfect ending.

I've seen it a few times, only seen the final season once. It was all just so.... forced

I just pretend it doesn't exist 6 hours ago, Deadpulse said: It truly does cast a shadow over the series. However, up to that final moment where they for some reason undo ALL of the character development throughout the series, Chuck is one of my most enjoyable rewatches 2 hours ago, JBURGE said: @Deadpulse @scar988 I think the reason I am still so high on Chuck is that you can basically stop watching at the end of season 4 and skip season 5 entirely. They never needed a season 5.
