We saw that with the RGIII fallout. Things were great after his rookie year, but when he was no longer the same? It all started again. No other team has this same issue to the magnitude that we do, either.

That's one of the points that indicate it has stayed the same.
e16bball
I said 4 wins a couple days ago, but I think I’ll have to adjust that to 5 wins based on what we saw today. I had them splitting with Dallas, but the Cowboys are even worse than I expected with the way they’ve been decimated by injuries — I’ll be very surprised if they win more than a game or two the rest of the way, and I certainly can’t pick them to beat us when they next meet. I still have Philly taking the division at 6-9-1. The mind boggling thing is that that outcome (them with 6 wins and us with 5) would almost certainly mean that the division title would be hanging in the balance in our Week 17 matchup with them. Which is insane.

Add in a former head coach really struggling with the defense in Mike Nolan, and things are just a disaster. It also doesn't help that their offense is really built around a mobile QB, and having a statue like Andy Dalton is really proving to be a challenge for them. Well that and the fact that when McCarthy got hired, they had an OL that was supposed to consist of Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin, and La’el Collins — and they were without all 4 of them today, and 3 of them aren’t coming back the rest of the year. You go from that group (almost assuredly best in the league) to the mess they had out there today, and you’re going to have some major wrinkles in the plan. turtle28
I predicted 5 wins before the season and I’m sticking to it. That’ll put us around the 5th pick in the draft I think. If we’re picking there, I don’t know what we’ll do in terms of drafting a QB. We may trade up for Fields if we absolutely love him, we may just stay put and take Lance.
