D-Law is 35 (27) dead cap in a trade and you have to find someone to pay his salary.(81 over 3 years) Cooper is 10(8) and you have to find someone to pay his salary (88 over 4 years) Zeke is 19(15) and he has a Gurley poison pill contract. (30.2 million for the next 2 years and it just keeps going since years vest early) Are you trying to trade some of your best players for 5th or 6th round picks? Where are you getting your numbers? 2. What are you trying to show between the number and the number in parenthesis? 3. Coop is a really good WR, but Zeke and Dlaw are severely under performing compared to their contract. Should have never extended either. Matts4313
For the record*: Cooper would be $20m/yr for 4 years. But the new team would only be on the hook for 2021 salary in terms of guarantees. Dallas would have $8m in dead cap, but $20min salary relief for a +$12m. Dlaw would be just under $20m/yr for the new team. Dallas would net + $2m in 2021 cap space. Zeke is just over $10m/yr for 4 years for the new team. Dallas would eat a ~$5m loss in 2021. I would assume we could get something in the ~2nd-4th round range for any of them. *Based on trading them before the draft. Numbers are a little different if trading by the deadline, but not dramatically different. We just get let off the hook for the salary this season. TecmoSuperJoe
Great win for the 49ers in New England. Doesn't get any easier though with the schedule. @Seahawks @Saints Packers BYE @Rams Bills Pretty brutal stretch.
