Remember when halftime shows used to devote a few mins of highlights & discussion to each game?  Nowadays it's one clip per game if you're lucky while they pack the rest of the time with commercials.  Lame.

mmmmm.... NFL halftime is only ~10-15 minutes. The most famous halftime was Berman and he spent about 20 seconds per a game blurting random words and noises.

While this Russell praise is appropriate, the Cardinals losing Chandler Jones is also a significant problem.

That's definitely correct.  To be fair, Seattle is playing without Jamal Adams.  So key defensive player out for both teams.

Also, man stop with all this MVP talk.  Half the season hasn't been played yet.

Last year at around this time Wilson was also the MVP front runner and his played cooled down a ton as the season wore on.  I hope that doesn't happen, but there's still a ton of ball left to be played and there are other guys who are still playing very well.

I guess you don't then.

Oh I remember fine. You are misremembering. There are normally ~7-9 early games. A few means 3. 7 x 3 = 21. Half time is technically 12 minutes long. So what you described never happened in the history of the NFL.

I was just trying to tell you that you were wrong nicely.

It's always been boring and has never offered any real insight.  I didn't care to watch the halftime report then and I don't care to watch it now.

Russell is playing on another level and Seattle has outpaced the high expectations we’ve had for them. Lamar Jackson was strong to start but had it wrapped up by the Rams game on Monday Night last year.
