pf9 Posted October 26, 2020 Share Posted October 26, 2020 We make our first visit to Buffalo in 8 years that year. Of the 26 NFL teams that existed in 1970, only we have never won in Buffalo. The last failure in 2014 effectively ended our chances of winning Super Bowl 49. We lost the first seed to the Seahawks on a tie-breaker, and ended up losing to them in the NFC title game. Had we won over the Bills that year, we would have been the #1 seed, while the Cowboys would have been #2 by virtue of beating Seattle earlier in the season. Ironically, the Packers and Bills have sharply contrasting levels of success in NFL title games. We lead the league with 13 titles, while the Bills are infamous for losing 4 straight Super Bowls to start the 1990s, all of them to NFC East teams, the last two to the Cowboys. The first of these losses was probably the most crushing for Bills fans, as Scott Norwood's game winning field goal attempt sailed wide right. Idk about 150 but you should make out on that pretty good, without looking it had to have been pretty damn low when nothing at all was going on. I remember when online poker made a lot of people millionaires and what happened to it, so I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. Personally that is one hype train I am not boarding. In August it was all the rage. It was gonna go way way way up. Start of October everyone was telling me they were right I was wrong. And now nobody is telling me anything. If sports gambling goes legal nationally, they'd have a foot in the door for that right? I think they can already do that in some states. That's a longer deal though.
