TheKillerNacho
For the record, I think it's possible the Rams score 30, not saying it's beyond the realm of possibility, obviously. Goff is going to struggle though I think. Our pass defense is actually really good.

Not sure what a game in 2017 matters, lots of turnover in 3 years lol Yeah that’s why I said under McVay lol. It does matter because it’s a trend and until that trend is broken why not pay attention to it? Like McVay is 30-0 when leading at halftime. No matter if it’s 2017, 2018, 2019, or this season 2020 he hasn’t lost a game when the Rams lead at the half.

Extra prep, Rams coming off a short week, and hot & rainy conditions. Shouldn't be a very offensive game, I'd reckon.

Yeah I agree that’s why I said this could be the perfect storm because the Rams are on a short week coming off a physical defensive game and the Dolphins had a BYE. I’m just saying I won’t be predicting the Rams scoring less than 30pts until I see it happens on a noon kickoff game under McVay. It hasn’t happened yet but most definitely it has the makeup to happen considering all the reasons I mentioned.

Really wish it wasn’t against the rams though because I’d like to actually wish him well 😅 I hope he’s a stud but takes a game to adjust lol Dolphins are a team Ive always liked, even though regardless of how good or bad they’re doing, they always seem to beat the Rams. That''s true. With the Rams on the schedule I always think of the '86 game when a weak Dolphins team beat the playoff-bound Rams 37-31 in OT. I clearly remember Dickerson taking a screen pass but just as the ball arrived so did Dolphins' DT Brian Sochia for a boneshaker hit. Which was unusual because Miami's defense was truly awful in the late '80s, I expected Dickerson to get 250 yds in that game.
btfd16
I haven't ever seen heat effect this team. They practice in heat all year and actually this year, the humidity was higher than Texas. Cold is a different story.... we are straight *** in the cold my dude Edited October 28, 2020 by btfd16

Rams actually put up 50 in the Gaints game I was at that Giants game and it wasn't bad at all (Live in jersey). It was cold and drizzling at times but nothing like the Washington game. Aside from the really cold bears game in 2017, I dont think I've seen a rams team under Mcvay play poorly due to heat/rain or really anything. Even in the Washington game this year players were saying they couldn't wait to play in rain lol I dont see heat or humidity being a factor at all. Especially since it'll be about 80-85 this weekend in Miami. I played in 100+ in Florida and can say theres worse times to play there than right now. The first time I experienced an underdog Dolphins team beating the rams was in 04 I believe. I really thought the rams would win that game and thats the one that always comes to mind

Should be a good game!

Under McVay, the Rams have played 6 noon kickoff games. They are (5-1) the one loss being to the Bills where they were a questionable PI call away from winning. Most importantly though each game the Rams have score at least 30pts. So again until it changes pencil in at least 30pts for the Rams and if the Dolphins want to win they will have to score at least 30pts. I’ll say this though it’s a perfect storm to happen due to the Rams coming off a short week in a physical defensive game and the Dolphins had a BYE to get ready. I’m excited though to see Tua make his first start. As an LSU fan I’ve watched Tua and Bama and he was special for them. This game though is a Goff avenge game. Goff made his first career start in LA against the Dolphins. Had a 7-0 lead in the 4th until Fisher went conservative and the Dolphins won 14-7. I expect Goff to do like he has continuously done and that’s get that Fisher bad smell off him and it all started against the Dolphins. I look for Goff to have a very good game. Good luck Sunday and I hope for no injuries. This is a Belichick desciple - and we've only topped 30 points three times this year. I doubt we top 30 this week
FrantikRam
We haven't won in Miami since like 1970 and have only ever beaten the Dolphins twice....crazy

Good game, hopefully, no injuries! 🍻 Agreed! We were so bad for so long that we had a lot of weird/crazy stats with several teams. Thankfully McVay has just about fixed all of them, and not winning in a city for 50 years definitely qualifies. I've come around to the timing of starting Tua (no tape for the Rams to study and a bye to implement/adjust the offense), when before had an easy game (Jets) and after have a tough one. I'll be picking the Rams to win because, I'm a fan (I'll be picking them in every game for the rest of the year except @Tampa), but between the new wrinkles on offense, the weather, the bye, one less day of rest from playing Monday AND the early start (although with day light savings that'll help a little), it's going to be tough Edited October 29, 2020 by FrantikRam
