Yeah there's no way I'd have put money on Jimmy coming back home. There's far too many things going against that.

I think it's going to have to be a barrel scraping scenerio, or just roll with Cam and Stid again.

It will be another painful season offensively. I'm 100% sure of that.

14mil is not backup money.

Mariota technically got 20 million to be a backup because of incentives.

We need to see how much is guaranteed. If it is 7-9 then it's totally high end backup money.

This makes sense if they want Lance, but BB isn't even showing up to see him throw today.. so who knows

The way things look to me right now is that the team fully plans to spend to the cap in FA and likely have a smaller draft class to sign. That would point to trading up.

I may be wrong but that's the impression I'm getting from the moves so far.

Nearly there

Would we not be okay with this? I'd be fine with sitting Lance for a year behind Cam.

I'd have a problem with giving up significant extra draft capital to get him, but at pick 15? With the team that's being built around him? Sure, why not.

I don't understand the Tray Lance love. What gives you any reason that he can play in the NFL. The only thing that he has shown is a strong arm and he can run.

There are major question about him reading a defenses and going through progressions. The level of competition is a big concern and the offense was design to go to one receiver. I read he average 15 throws a game!  I would take Mond over Lance and you can get Mond in the 2nd RD.

You have a choice,  Lance or JC Horn and Mond. I'm taking the latter.

I will leave Jones out of the equation but if anything I would go after Fields who has the same skills and has played in a much higher level of competition.
