What players in your teams past do you have irrational fandom for? They might have not been the best but you would fight tooth and nail in any argument for. Maybe it was their name, that they were good in a game you played or because they made 1 career highlight play that you loved.

A couple for me would be Dennis Northcutt, Leigh Bodden, Ashley Lelie and Tatum Bell.

Cop out but Aaron Rodgers. In an era where QB greatness is defined by rings, he's still the greatest QB I've ever seen play the game. He made the Packers must see football every week and the games he's missed in the past made the Packers borderline unbearable to watch with anyone else under center.

I had some weird player-crushes on other teams too...

Vilma, Patrick Kerney, Jevon Kearse, Justin Smith, Kimo Von Oelhoffen.....

can't explain why.

Kinda obscure one for me is Alterraun Verner. Still saddens me how his career pretty much fizzled out after he left the Titans.

Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala was another one. Wasn't a particularly great player or anything but his name is legit.

Jim Kleinsasser. Tough SOB who had too many knee injuries to have the success he should have had. But a very good and long career all the same.
