DingoLadd
Gotham Gameplan: OFFENSE - 3 WR/RB/TE Coming out 3 wide to take advantage of a bad group of CBs in the Singapore secondary. Stafford is going to work the boundaries against single coverage and have Landry work short and intermediate routes as a safety valve to combat Singapore’s significant pass rush. We also welcome Doug Martin as our featured back, we will use him as well as Derrick Henry to wear down their DLine and keep them honest, not allowing them to pin their ears back in an effort to get to Stafford. Overall we are looking for a balanced attack, while Stafford spreads the ball around to the open man or mismatched defender. DEFENSE - 43 Hybrid Nickel The name of the game here is to stop the Singapore run game from developing to open up the pass game for Ben. We will be running our hybrid, but it will look more like a 43 with Ansah playing 7T. Watt, Wilkerson and Logan man their normal spots, but we will have Bernardrick McKinney playing up on the strong side with read react duties on the defensive left side off of Watt. With this, it is essentially a five man front on running plays. With Bowman and Cunningham manning the second level along with Chancellor up in the box as well, we feel we can limit this strength. As much as we respect the Sentinels ground game, we’re less worried about their receiving corps against our secondary. Xavier Rhodes will be on an island against Allen, with rookie sensation Jourdan Lewis manning the opposite boundary against Larry Fitz. With a stacked box, we expect Singapore to try and work short and intermediate routes, but we will play them physically off the line to disrupt timing patterns, especially with Fitz. Singapore Gameplan: SINGAPORE Week 5 Motvation If we are going to have a chance at the playoffs we have to right the ship against Gotham. Both teams coming off close losses means we’ll be fighting for every point this week. Gotham’s defense suffered a huge loss in Norman we will look to exploit and our OL is intact for the first time in weeks to give Ben the protection he needs to get the ball out. Offense (4 WR, 1 RB) Gotham’s defensive depth was challenged last week by spreading them out and we will continue to use that tactic to our advantage. We’ll also get both of our playmaking RB’s on the field at the same time and interchange them in the backfield. Hunt will get the majority of carries this week as Bell has more experience lining up in the slot. Allen and Fitzgerald will again man the outsides with Lockett and Bell on the inside. We will use lots of motion to confuse the Gashslayers. Trips to one side with Bell or Lockett in motion will open up Jet sweeps and the occasional reverse. All of our backs will be mismatches for the Gotham linebackers in space. In the Red Zone we'll use our TE's in James and Derby to create mismatches in the end zone. We expect a shootout and believe we have more weapons than the depleted Gotham secondary can deal with. Defense: 4-2-5 Big Nickel We think we can win the war of attrition versus the Slayers OL with our front four. Hunter, Joseph, Donald and Griffen had a feast of sacks last week we hope will continue against our old QB in Matt Stafford. He’s not going to phase us with his hard counts or play action as we’ve seen it all before. Simon, Reed and Hankins keep all the guys fresh to harass Stafford all day. Deion Jones will spy on Henry to limit his yards after contact. Thompson will cover Wilson. In heavy run formations Jaylon Smith will come in for extra run support. Trae Waynes will cover BeBe Thomas, Kirkpatrick will take Conley, leaving super slot CB Diggs to cover Landry. Harmon and Vaccaro will play deep cover 2 to keep the big plays in check. We believe in our secondary to keep the Gotham receivers in check and create turnovers to give our high powered offense the ball back.

Still played better than Ben and losing by three points isn't garbage time. I see you trying to undersell the other teams QB because yours looked like... but come on man. Scoundrel
But I'm not saying I'm voting for him either. Although my pointing this out might make me lose your vote.

Been doing this too long for criticism to make a difference in swaying my vote. I don't generally read anything until Tuesday so I have no opinion on any of the games at this time. That being said I'll likely either get my vote in late tonight or Wed morning as I will be in Knoxville tomorrow to see Halestorm.

DingoLadd
Both QBs had bad weeks. Especially ben since he's been off for most of the season, In a game where both teams will struggle to move the ball outside of some good play by their RBs. I'll give gotham the nod in a 17-14 win. bcb1213
Both teams have some suspect secondaries so passing games should be OK Ben is just not the same QB without good QB play and we've seen that since Gilbert has been out. I think Watt and Ansah get enough pressure with Glenn still out to make Ben turn it over for a cheap couple scores Gotham 17-
