Offense

Camden defense offers some serious challenges, but we are confident in our elite offense to win in all phases of the game. We’ll have a 60:40 pass to run ratio, depending obviously on the scenario of the game.

In the passing game, we’ll try to involve all our weapons all over the field. To do that, we will show a lot of different formations: 2-4 WRs, 1-3 TEs, 1-2 RBs. We will move around our receivers inside and outside to keep Camden defense guessing. If Camden decides to roll with a cover 3 scheme, look for Kelce on out and corner routes as well as throws to AJ Green and TY Hilton to the sidelines. We consider Aqib Talib to be the best corner in the NFL so we will try to avoid him in man-to-man.

In the running game, we’ll try to run at Ngakoue when he’s on the field. He’s the weak link against the run on that DL and we think Stanley or Penn can overpower him. We’ll run the ball mostly outside behind our tackles and Kelce. DiMarco will be involved a lot also and we might pull Zeitler outside on some plays. The goal is to put pressure on Camden linebackers who aren’t the best against the run. Ajayi gets between 10-15 carries, Thompson get 10ish carries and Gallman will have a chance to prove himself with between 5 to 10 carries. Thompson will actually see the majority of the snaps as he will be our back on passing downs.

Camden obviously boasts a monster DL with a lot of depth. Fortunately, our OL isn’t too shabby either despite the injuries to Schraeder and LDT. To keep a clean pocket for Matt Ryan, we will provide sometimes additional help with our RB in protection. When he’s not in protection, we will use Chris Thompson as a safety valve for Ryan and we think he can have a big gain if we can get him the ball in space because, once again, Camden linebackers aren’t the best tacklers in the NFL.

Defense

This week we will run a classic cover 2 deep with the aim to keep everything in front of us. Camden has two special talents outside with Evans and Odell and one of the best deep passer in the NFL (if not the best) so we will have Williams and Church playing deep most of the time, with Slay on Evans and Alford on Odell. Fuller mans the slot, and he’ll stay there, even if Odell or Evans move inside. If we see Evans or ODB in the slot, we might play Church a little closer to the LoS in the middle of the field

Shazier and Davis are our linebackers in this game. Shazier will key on Duke whenever he’s on the field as we have a tremendous respect for his abilities. When Freeman is in, Shazier switches on Ingram with Davis on Freeman.

Camden OL is really bad as even Tyrion Smith isn’t playing well these days (plus he might me limited due to a back injury). That alone should limit the impact of Camden running game. Camden usually tries to run outside but our corners and linebackers hold their ground in the running game so we think we can stop them on talent alone.

Obviously this strategy will allow some running gains and some short completions, but we feel that our DL is so much better than their OL that we should, in the end, get the better of Camden offense.

Offense
This is our first crack at a rematch against Seoul from last years Bizz Bowl. We always look forward to the challenge that such a well rounded team represents. Here are some of the things we're going to key on today.

Take advantage of zones- If Seoul decides to throw in cover 3 like last week, we'll take advantage of the soft spots that defense gives by utilizing lots of quick outs and comebacks. When we attack these soft spots it could open up big shots down the field. Expect a few well placed deep shot throughout the game.

Get the RB's in space- I'm sure Seoul will harp on the interior of our OL, so along with the quicker passing attack to the outsides, we'll have Freeman and Duke Johnson as safety valves to help Brees get rid of the ball quick. This also serves to slow down pass rushers from just attacking knowing they could be getting baited into over playing a screen or delayed handoff.

Aside from those two keys, we're going to try to stay fairly balanced today. Not letting Seoul's defense key in on any one area is important. I do think my WR's have an advantage against their secondary as a whole, and I think with how well Brees is playing right now that we're going to find some big success through the air.

Defense
Everyone knows how varied and talented Seoul's offensive attack is. Slowing them down is the key to victory here and we have some ideas how to do that. Here are a couple coverage looks to help limit Matt Ryan.

Cover 1 Robber- We'll be doing a lot of this today, with one safety deep shaded mostly to TY Hilton's side. We'll do this because Talib will be on Green, so that should limit many big plays downfield from him. We're aware of Hilton's deep speed so a safety valve is important. The key to this coverage is the 'Robber' aka Jamal Adams. This coverage leaves the SS free to do multiple things. He can play closer to the line and drop into a shallow zone, he's closer to defend the run, he can become a blitzer or he can match up with TE's and RB's leaving a LB to blitz or drop into a zone. Adams will be helping a lot on Kelce today, and we'll mix in some safety blitzes to help our pass rush.

Cover 3- Like we've utilized in the past couple weeks, we just won't be using it nearly as often. This is another way to vary blitzes to attack Matt Ryan. Ryan hasn't been all that great this year, but he's a veteran with great weapons so we know we have to stay varied to beat him.

These coverages both offer advantages in the run game as well because it allows one of our safeties to play relatively close to the LOS. Both my safeties are strong run players as well, so we think we can keep Ajayi pretty bottled up today, as well as being aware of Chris Thompson's receiving ability. Luckily we employee some pretty athletic LB's to pair with our safeties so we think we can limit his splash plays in the passing game as well.

I don't have faith in the Seoul's secondary to keep those WRs in check, despite the cover 2. Also playing a cover 2 will open them up underneath, I think Freeman on Davis is an exploitable mismatch.

On the flip side I think Camden's secondary with Talib eliminating AJ and TY getting bracketed should limit the damage they can do. With the Cover 1 it allows the safety to give a variety of looks including the mentioned blitzing that will move Ryan off his spot.

Camden takes this one.

Crazy shootout. I don't like either secondary against the weapons they are facing. Camden's OL isn't performing at the highest level whereas Seoul's DL is pretty hot at the moment so the pressure, especially from the interior will cause Brees a lot of trouble. I think Seoul's OL holds up better against the insanely deep DL rotation which lets Seoul get an early lead and the passing game becomes less important. But as the game goes on Camden mounts a comeback and in the 4th the home crowd gets them over the line in arguably the game of the year.

Camden 31-30 Seoul as Camden brings it back from 24-10 down at the half.

This game is probably game of the week, I'll give the nod to Seoul since they have the better o-line and should be able to take advantage of Camden's back seven and Camden's o-line will fall apart on a few drives which will screw them over in the end.

Were you gonna actually vote for them or just show moral support?

This game is worth the hype. I think the greatest mismatch is Camden's offensive line against the Seou pass rush. Quick throws go so far until Seoul begins to anticipate and jump those routes.

Second biggest mismatch is Camdens receiving core against Seoul's DBs. Church played well this week. Beckham and Evans are also premier weapons.

In the end it's the best game of this week. I think Camden earns the home victory.

Camden 34-Seoul 28
