Elgton Jenkins an average offensive lineman?!?!? Already calling Gary and Savage enigmas? Listen, not all of your FAs and draft picks are going to work. Gute has hit on more than his fair share of both. And that's both high end FAs like Zadarius, Amos, Turner (P Smith meh) and low end FAs like Veldheer, Wagner, Ervin and UDFA Allen Lazard Gute is a keeper. That draft and 2019 could turn out to be very impactful. People's draft expectations are impossible. Also agree that Gute is a keeper, although he has some areas to improve for sure. Namely fixing the run defense. Although that may be a coordinator shift too. IF Gutey somehow gets 2-3 more huge years out of Rodgers, convinces Love to stick around, and Love pans out, and trades Rodgers for something nice gutey will be all-time great. jleisher
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not, but aren't you glad Gute didn't give up the draft pick the Texan's wanted for Fuller now? Would have been a wasted trade.

Would have been a wasted trade. It was stupid even without Fuller getting suspended. He’s an injury prone WR that would have been an 8 game rental for a 2nd round pick. Now add into the fact the only reason he was healthy for the first time in his career was because he was juiced, it was a genius non-move. Would have been very disappointing though.

You may have essentially been giving up Jones and a 2nd round pick to get him. That's a lot regardless of the suspension.
