I dont understand especially with basketball background. Box out be physical use your size. I sware if it’s not a easy Uncontested pass Waller isn’t going to fight for it. Bet you foster makes that catch tho. Arm chair OCing on my couch watching Julius Thomas highlights Iso’d by the goaline just running quick slants would love that with Waller

Waller has not shown this ability yet. I would like to see them try it though.

Some of clips it’s not even boxing out it’s just quick separation and boom the ball is on him

You know honestly, after Moreau posted on Twitter that he was coming back it looks like he's been getting more reps. I don't think he was fully recovered from his groin injury from last year. That's why I think we were using Witten more. I noticed Moreau has been back in action and even scored that sweet TD for us this last game. I think we will see more from Moreau now that he is healthy.

With Waller you see the same thing a lot. part of that could be what Gruden feels comfortable with Waller's ability or Gruden does not calling those types of plays. We all want to see Ruggs get quick passes to get the ball in his hands also so maybe it is on Gruden.

Isn’t it a very very small sample size though with first guy miss atleast. No one every going to confuse him for Aj brown lol obviously

Based on what exactly. He has caught what 5 or so short passes so far. What you basing this can't make first guy miss on.

He was really a specialist in their offense where they designed certain plays for him … He is fast, but when people get on him you don’t see the same speed and route running. When he gets the ball, if he has a clear path, he can go. But he’s not a make-you-miss player. I don’t think he’s timid (in traffic). But he’s not a playmaker on the ball so when bodies are around him he doesn’t catch the ball. He’s a space-vertical linear route runner that needs space to catch the ball.” sound familiar? I hope he proves me wrong but he looks just like he did in college imo.
bucksavage1
The lack of Ruggs usage is concerning where this year most 1-2 round picks have been shining with their teams. Ruggs was the 1st on off the board. It seems like Nelson and Ruggs role should be reversed. Outside of that, Gruden when to go for a FG deep in the redzone on a 4th and short, the team goes into the dumpster after that Im finished with Gruden. I wouldn't be surprised we lose to LA tonight
