onejayhawk
The Panthers call to kick off the second half. They are quite a bit better than the Jets. They rate close to the Raiders and we see how that went. FBO has moved the Chiefs to #4 overall (TB is #1), #1 offense, #13 defense, #23 ST. Carolina is #16, dead average--#12 offense, #25 defense, #17 ST. In week #8, the Chiefs took care of business. Mahomes did another of his pinball machine games, though in large part it was the receivers who were the big doers. Two of Mahomes five TD were completed behind the line of scrimmage. The defense did its part. Pride did a film study on them this week. It's good to see Chiefs ST climbing out of their hole.https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2020/11/3/21547175/chiefs-defense-week-8-film-review-taking-care-of-business-against-jets-nfl J
KC_Guy
So .. as of the official transaction report: - The Sausage returned to the team in full capacity - L'Jarius Sneed remains on IR, but is designated for return. So the the team has a 3 week window to activate him or shut him down for the year.
Kirill
McCafrey is "very hopeful" he'll play against us. Time for CEH to show out.

Has anyone else noticed how much better Hitchens has been against the run this year. Hard as it may be to believe, he seems quicker. The run defense generally is still nothing to cheer, but it is better. It is worth noting our defense has 8th most snaps against, so the counting stats add up. Wilson has also played better. i wonder if drafting the rookie so early lit a fire under their butts? Their play is keeping him off the field at least for now. Chiefer
Chris Jones was just placed on the COVID list. out at least the next couple weeks
onejayhawk
The staffer was one of the COVID testers. Chris Jones is on the IR/COVID, but with the bye up next that's just one game. Also, he seems to be on a contact list, not a test positive list. The Chiefs have a middling schedule the rest of the way. Based on first half records, they rank right in the middle at #17. https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2020/11/05/kansas-city-chiefs-strength-of-schedule-final-eight-games-2020/ J

KC_Guy
So this week the team called up Bryan Witzman and Gehrig Dieter from the practice squad. They can't do this again with Isidora and Kemp as they have exhausted the two-times-per-player limit for the one game call-up and automatic return to PS move for these two players. Word is still out for L'Jarius Sneed but with the bye week coming up I believe they'll give him another two weks before his return.
KC_Guy
Choppy stream I am on ... however still can watch a bit at the airport. Broken defensive play to allow McCaffrey to walk in .. not sure what happened there. One thing I know for sure: The Chiefs can't have the Panthers string together 10 minute drives

I don't mind Reiter, honestly. He's been much better this year than in prior years. I'd rather see Reiter at C and see if Kilgore could maybe handle RG, and get Wylie out of there forever. onejayhawk
I was just able to catch the last few minutes on the radio. Local coverage has the Texans game. It sounds like they came out flat, pushed ahead, but almost let it slip away like against the Raiders. Still, a win is a win. We have a bye next week. KC_Guy
Only saw parts of the first half on a choppy stream at the airport thus only one remark for now: It was close today but one day one of Butker's missed extra points will cost them. It's pretty concerning right now. Not sure what is wrong there as he is much better on normal field goals.
