As we all know, the Face of the Franchise looked to be leaning toward Teddy Bridgewater being the guy until the devastating non-contact knee injury last summer. He know is even taking steps closer to return to the Vikings.

Week 6 will be upon us very soon, so lets begin the Teddy talks.

Bridgewater continues to do more work on his own and is slated to come off the Physically Unable to Perform list after Week 6, when he is first eligible to do so, and begin practicing with the Vikings, sources said.

Bridgewater has received clearance from doctors each step of the way and there have been no recent setbacks in his recovery, sources said, and every reason to anticipate him being activated off the PUP list following the Vikings' Week 6 game. He is expected to be reviewed by the doctors once more prior to officially being activated off the PUP list.

The Vikings' plan is to have Bridgewater in their quarterback mix in the second half of the season.

Good to hear. I'd rather turn to Teddy than Keenum if Bradford keeps having knee troubles.

so, can someone definitively state what the situation is with his contract tolling or not? is it an automatic thing that happens, or subject to choice?

No.  No one has Norsetradamus-like powers to be able to see two weeks or more into the future.  Not even Spielman.  {Mike Wallace}.
