INbengalfan
It's Big Ben. In his truest form, he comes off the list 7 minutes before the deadline to pass the test, because for him, This is the way.

More likely scenario for the Bengals: The Bengals are up 20-7 headed into the fourth quarter. *Chaos and murmuring erupt on the field and in studio* *Image of Ben emerging from the locker room and buckling up his chinstrap, while he starts warming up/throwing with a faceless teammate on the sideline* Gus Johnson: LOOK AT BEN! BEN IS COMING OUT!!! WE HAVE JUST BEEN INFORMED THAT HE HAS PASSED COVID PROTOCOL AND WILL PLAY IN THE FOURTH QUARTER!!!!!!!! TOUCHDOWN! TOUCHDOWN! Steelers cut the lead to 6!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOUCHDOWN! TOUCHDOWN! I don't believe it! I don't believe it! The Bengals let this thing slip away and lose by 1, in a historic and unprecedented, *Gasping for breath* 21-20!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
N4L
Kendrick bourne was added to the covid list yesterday. He was the player who tested positive last week, then it was determined it was a false positive, removed from the list on friday (after the game) and then was added back yesterday. the fact the contact tracing only has him on the list is good, not sure wtf is really going on here though
jebrick
This is the point the NFL's off -the-cuff COVID protocols have a problem. They forced the Steelers to take a bye week because their opponent had multiple cases. Will they do the same here? The NFL is hoping that Ben and others test negative but if they do not then they need to add a 2nd bye week. Same as they did with the Titans and the Pats. Same as they did with the Titans and the Pats. not going to happen When the NFL had to reshuffle, they did so because the protocols were not in place to avoid a team wide outbreak. Now that the NFL feels as though even if a handful of players test positive, that they should be able to isolate those individuals and their contacts to a point where they feel confident there will be no additional people testing positive. Basically, more than a few people getting sick is deemed the teams responsibility because if they follow the mask protocols etc, then the NFL doesnt feel as though there is any risk of a team wide outbreak. This is why their new policy is to force teams to play short handed, because the league views it as the teams issue and not the leagues issue. Look at what happened to the niners. thursday game, false positive, kept our best three (remaining) offensive players out of the game, NFL said "tough sh!t" and then tried to pin the fact we had trent williams and brandon aiyuk out of the game on Kendrick Bourne, even though it was their refusal to move the game 1 day that was really the cause of it. So, steelers fans will complain, but the NFL doesnt care.

Vontaze Burfict and Pac-Man are on the field... oh no, a late penalty on Ben Roethlisberger that puts the Steelers in Field Goal range with less than 30 seconds to go!”

This reminds me of that time in the NBA Finals when Paul Pierce pretended to injure his ankle against the Lakers so that he could go to the locker room to take a deuce. Perhaps in this scenario Big Ben passes covid testing right before the game, but he was fighting something serious that only him and that toilet could truly understand. 😂

Imagine the NFL’s trash policy effecting playoff seeding because some teams got byes moved and other lost theirs and then got nothing to help them when they had players sick. Lmao league is a joke.
