DuvalsKing
🤔 I vaguely remember somebody saying something about they can’t imagine a NY lead Giants team lead by Colt McCoy winning a game.. 🤷♂️ Welp there goes that. And he beat a playoff bound squad in Russell Wilson. Say what you want about Judge but he’s getting a group of castoffs to buy in and believe and no Barkley this year as well. Giants are giving me shades of the 1996 Jaguars. You look at San Fran they’ve started a league high 38 different starters at various positions this year they find a way to stay competitive. The Pats could and probably should have laid down the rest of the season but Beli won’t let them. No way they are making the playoffs but they won’t stop fighting and they are now .500 again. You look at how Goff goes from looking like a future serviceable backup under Fischer to a Pro Bowler under McVay.. Goff is the prime example of what it means to find a guy that can be reign man to your QB. Goff is what you call the ultimate game manger he’s able to learn XOs from a offensive guru soak up his knowledge and now he can marry all his tools up with the knowledge the coach has given him and execute. It’s the reason I’m not sure if the Jags had drafted Mahomes or Watson with this staff they may have ended up like Darnold is about to next year.. The coaching hire is going to be critical to get this ship turned around quickly and to aid the progression of the next QB.

Funny how that works... You just don't know how these guys will turn out.

pwny
Looks like Washington is about to get to 5 wins. So we’re safe with them.

They're one of the few teams (along with Carolina, Denver, Detroit, and Chicago) that I could see having interest in a trade up, so this is good. Either way, all of those teams appear likely to end up picking 8 or later which isn't the easiest to move up to #2-#3 from.

But yeah...doesn't get much more blatant than that. Yeah. I genuinely believe Gregg Williams thought that was a good idea at the time. Anyway, good riddance once again, to a true scumbag who really should've still been stuck on the "indefinite suspension" list this whole time.

pwny
Bengals (2.5 wins) vs Cowboys (3 wins) Broncos (4 wins) vs Panthers (4 wins) Chargers (3 wins) vs Falcons (4 wins) Hopefully these games end up having no impact on our positioning regardless, but three games that are likely to push at least one team out of our reach in that regard. Then next week, there really aren’t any games that are guaranteed to break our way without a reasonable sized upset. But then week 16 brings us: Panthers (4) vs Washington (5) Bengals (2.5) vs Texans (4) Broncos (4) vs Chargers (3) Eagles (3.5) vs Cowboys (3) Then week 17 brings: Cowboys (3) vs Giants (5) Jets (0) vs Patriots (6) - still an unlikely win, but hopefully Bill does us the solid of a lifetime Washington (5) vs Eagles (3.5) None of this (other than Bill screwing over the Jets) matters for us unless we start winning, but at least as things are going we have some games that are guaranteed to make us feel good however the results play out. If CIN and LAC somehow win that'd be massive. Dallas still has a couple of NFC East games.
