Even if you eek out the win, when you've been up by 2 or 3 scores late in the game, the result shouldn't have to come down to a 3rd and long conversion to seal the game. Honestly, the best thing for Rivers would have been Gates getting the TD record last season and just retiring. Phil fixates on two guys inside the 10 (Gates and Allen); one of them is just plain past-done and the other didn't bring his hands today.
