Phil Jackson. The NFL media doesn't like Bill Belichick. There was no internal motivation to question Phil Jackson. Questioning Belichick's legacy is fun because Belichick is an *******.

All your points are very valid but as I'm reading each one I keep saying to myself the kraft ,brady , bill B relationship always seemed awkward and not organic to me. Like I feel like Kraft loved brady maybe Brady won some power struggles we don't know about. I mean him and kraft kissed on the lips after a superbowl lol. They were right as soon as tom said to him I was the best pic you ever made lmao.

Bill B is an awkward dude but I get a sense he's different behind closed doors there's some personality there. I remember that randy moss halloween party video and you could tell bill B was hyped.

Philadelphia is a very irrational city, from what I can tell - but McNabb was hated the minute he was drafted #2 overall. It didn't help that every time he spoke, he'd throw his own teammates under the bus - I don't think McNabb was doing it intentionally, he was just oblivious to what he was saying.

. We're not allowed to talk about the reason on this board. Many in Philly felt that McNabb didn't . . . look the part of a franchise QB. Dawkins always looked the part of a stud safety.

I just feel like McNabb us remembered for throwing up in the superbowl and I think that hurt him more than anything. I guess people took it as out of shape.

I just love how to is praised for that superbowl in Philly and he had hidden agendas with that contract move.

And McNabb played on an in game broken ankle against the Cardinals balled out. I guess regular season isn't as appreciated.

All 3 of them are weird dudes.

Brady kisses everyone on the lips. Including his own kids.

Belichick is a curmudgeon.

Kraft prefers 40 dollar rub and tugs to the world class escorts he could easily afford.

True lol they need to come out with a book lol didn't his old *** knock up a 27 year old or is taking care of her kid? Kinda suspect.

Elway Ellis and Russell are odd balls too

Let's keep it above board, fellas. No need to talk about Robert Kraft and his issues.

3) how come no one debates Phil Jackson and Micheal Jordan the way they debate Bellicheck and Brady for Impact on their own legacy and dynasty?.

- is it just because of the fact he won multiple with Kobe and Shaq? Were those two years between title debated in the same way?

Coaches have the least impact on basketball. Great players win championships and there are only 5 on the court at a time. If you have Jordan and Pippen or Shaq and Kobe then you are expected to win titles. The later titles after Shaq left were probably the most impressive titles.

LeBron does not deserve worship for joining Anthony Davis and winning or joining Wade and Bosh and winning.

  • Even the Cleveland win was a super team with Kyrie and Love. (even if they were clearly just the 2nd best team overall)
  • The 3 different coaches that won with LeBron were none of them great coaches but they coached super teams. (like Swizer in Dallas, not saying they were exactly like him)

LeBron's first team that lost in the finals was probably his biggest accomplishment (like the Iverson and a bunch of dudes 2000 Sixers)

What LeBron deserves is for people to say he has 4 rings. They can also talk about his stats and say he is top 5 or whatever they want.

None of this means LeBron can't finish as the best if he continues to play at a high level and he gets his 6 rings or whatever.

If he wins 3 in a row in LA will it be because Vogel is a great coach?

You lost me I didn't compare lebron and jordan at all I simply was curious to know why Phil Jackson and MJ aren't dissected and broken down just like Brady and bill B are.

Rethinking it I think it's because MJ had a coach before Phil and peaked with him he kinda needed Phil as a catalyst.

Why do the refs sometimes announce timeouts as being a 30 sec timeout?

Its not like teams have the option of taking a long or a short TO

Media versus non-media timeout

I don't want to speak for anyone but I'll add Randall Cunningham seemed beloved. I think McNabb just had an off putting personality to some. Sorta like Alex Rodriguez. He also seemed to choke a lot in big games. May not be true (like Romo) but it seemed that way.

You're right about Cunningham.  Another example would be Daunte Culpepper.  Nobody seemed to have a problem with Daunte in Minnesota during the same era when McNabb played.

I'm guessing so TV doesn't go to commercial.

It's all about when certain ads are slated to play...

Rodney Peete was also generally liked in his time in Philly, too - as was Michael Vick, who had just got out of prison and was labeled a dog killer.

So... baseless assumption is baseless. Pre-McNabb and Post-McNabb has completely refuted this.

https://www.inquirer.com/philly/blogs/moving_the_chains/Trotter_reacts_to_McNabbs_comments.html

Here's an older interview with Jeremiah Trotter, who is generally revered in Philly. There's a litany of accusations on McNabb, from not being liked in his own locker room to not wanting to be in Philly to throwing his own guys under a bus and not taking responsibility for his own failures - that's not endearing you to a tough audience.

*What happens if Joe Montana doesn't get bent in half when he's 31? What happens to Steve Young's career as well?

*If Drew Henson doesn't play baseball/get drafted in the 1st Round by the Yankees, TB12 never starts at UM, much less is drafted, much less becomes who he is today/goes down in history. How many other "what if" stories out there have we missed on due to college coaching/coaching before college (Big Ben, for example, played TE in HS until his senior year, because the HC's son was the QB. Since he only had 1 year as a HS QB and most recruiting is done before your senior year, he only got small offers. It makes you wonder.)

What of Tony Boselli was healthy and had a 5+ year career as a Houston Texan? What does that do for David Carr?
