Do not like that call at that spot on the field. That is where you go all out to throw the ball past the sticks or call a screen. A sack doesn't kill field position and a first down there puts you in scoring position. While that extra 6-7 yards means nothing to help push them deep or help you D which just gave up a long drive. The first one was underthrown, brought the D into the the play, Gallup had to stop to catch it. . That second was too much a bullet and again not in the right position for the route and where the defender was. A little more touch to the outside and its a easy catch for Gallup who then probably gets the first down. Still both were still more then catchable and should have been handled easily.
