Wentz you dog you
Nagy gave up playcall duties... Now its Doug's turn.... Do the Nelson Agholor, give him a break a few weeks & see if he can learn from Rich Scangarello
RandyMossIsBoss
Wentz not turning it over and us still getting whooped by the Giants is a huge indictment on this entire roster and coaching staff. Injury excuse? Gone. Turnover “excuse” (not much of an excuse as much of something we assumed would regress to mean)? Gone. Just an awful team. For the 3rd game in a row the lone positive takeaway are the RBs... the most easily replaced position in football.

There's no accountability in this organization at all. Everyone's gotten fat and happy since the Super Bowl win (which was a flash in the pan). It starts at the top. Lurie needs to get rid of his wonder boy Roseman. Edited November 15, 2020 by RBreezy

EaglesPeteC
Doug calling plays in 2017 vs 2020 *also same can be said for Howie’s personnel moves and Carson Wentz quarterbacking*
Kiltman
Top 5 pick is back on the menu, I’m glad. Doug has been awful and we continue to see the dumb ways this defense has been built by Jim and Howie. If they want to give Doug another year, fine. Just no calling plays. Kick the tires on Wentz under a play calling and scheme from someone who has a shred of sense...his Contract makes him locked in to be here next year. But fire Jim, Press Taylor. DL and LB coaches can go.

Like before it and right after it was all oh yeah we all listened to everyone and combined ideas but now i think he just does what he wants cause he's SO SMART. EagleBlueDon
As long as Doug is HC and Jim is DC it won't matter how high we pick or what players we have. Especially with Howie making the decisions. And also with Carson at QB. Nothing matters as long as those 4 people remain the 4 most important figures of the franchise outside of Lurie. If they aren't replaced or don't change, nothing else matters. Literally nothing.

When the tires fall off, they fall off, and that might be what happened this game as the team/staff can't really look forward to a bye week "reset" or getting guys back anymore like they could after prior bad Ls. We saw that in 2012, strong 3-1 start turned into 3-3 with 2 close losses headed into the bye. We thought it could be turned around... Then we came out flat and went on to lose 9 of 10 games. A similar situation could play out here, although the fact that we will always be in the hunt thanks to this abysmal division might prevent such a collapse since vets who know their time is short are not going to quit when playoffs remain an option. Although is there anybody at 5 who will have that much more an impact than a guy who will be there at 7 or 8 this year? Our entire roster is pretty much 1 big hole so with no position off limits we could probably get a ton of help with any top 10 talent. I'm not too worried about our draft position, just worried the Giants drop the ball and those 5 wins get us in. That would hurt a ton going from top 10 to 19 or 20. Only positions that are definitely not a need in 2021 draft are TE and RB due to talent (although Goedert has simply not been good in 2020, but hard to judge him with this disastrous playcalling and poor QB play) and then QB due to cap situation, and Hurts to an extent. DT perhaps. Hargraves has been pretty mediocre, Malik Jackson and Cox are old. Not a big need but certainly an option. DE/OLB, CB, OL, LB, WR, S, all needs. We will not be forced to make any reaches this draft.
