Weak 10: Eagles at the Giants

4-11-1 would have given us a top 5 pick in each of the past 2 drafts, and very possible we can do that. 5-10-1 unfortunately most realistic scenario, I give us 1 win in the next 5 we have no business getting (think 2015 Eagles beating Patriots) and then beating either Boys or Skins.

When the tires fall off, they fall off, and that might be what happened this game as the team/staff can't really look forward to a bye week "reset" or getting guys back anymore like they could after prior bad Ls. We saw that in 2012, strong 3-1 start turned into 3-3 with 2 close losses headed into the bye. We thought it could be turned around... Then we came out flat and went on to lose 9 of 10 games. A similar situation could play out here, although the fact that we will always be in the hunt thanks to this abysmal division might prevent such a collapse since vets who know their time is short are not going to quit when playoffs remain an option.

Although is there anybody at 5 who will have that much more an impact than a guy who will be there at 7 or 8 this year? Our entire roster is pretty much 1 big hole so with no position off limits we could probably get a ton of help with any top 10 talent. I'm not too worried about our draft position, just worried the Giants drop the ball and those 5 wins get us in. That would hurt a ton going from top 10 to 19 or 20.

Only positions that are definitely not a need in 2021 draft are TE and RB due to talent (although Goedert has simply not been good in 2020, but hard to judge him with this disastrous playcalling and poor QB play) and then QB due to cap situation, and Hurts to an extent.

DT perhaps. Hargraves has been pretty mediocre, Malik Jackson and Cox are old. Not a big need but certainly an option.

DE/OLB, CB, OL, LB, WR, S, all needs. We will not be forced to make any reaches this draft.

yeah it's a thin margin to hit. I honestly have no faith in this team to win a game though.
Best case for a win is Dallas 2nd to last week.

I think at 5 you basically have a chance at a top defender, Jamar Chase (who would be waste here) .
If Rousseau is really that good, a new DE with actual ability to get to the QB quickly makes sense.
I could see Howie doing the over-correction he's done for other things and going Parsons and just talk about "special players' to discount how much he's talked down the LB position.
Overall yeah not a big deal to be 6-10, because they aren't going to draft someone to replace Wentz. And there will be some nice players on D there.

Overall, lots of corners, edges and WRs seem to be around the first 50 picks.
With some good LBs thrown in too by the looks of it. I can't say I've looked at the pool much.

One of the worst performance I have ever seen. Something definitely has to be changed. There wasn't any positive to take away from this game, that too after a bye week.

Fire Schwartz

Fire Doug

Bench Wentz

Start over.
