Lose to the Chiefs at some point in the playoffs... see we can't hang with the big boys

So, you think we will beat the Chiefs?

And isn't that name as politically incorrect as the "Indians".

Or is this a case in which rank has privilege?

We are on the verge of being able to hang with any team.

But we still have to prove that we can, every Sunday (or Monday night).

We’re 1 offseason away from competing with Pittsburgh and New Orleans.

We’re 2-3 offseasons from threatening Kansas City.

All depending on what we do with Chubb. Can’t get cute and let him walk because we don’t wanna pay a RB when we already have a good one.

It would be amazing if Chubb took a deal not much more than Hunt's, but that's obviously wishful thinking.

Not sure I agree.

During the 1st half, at least, I tried to envision our previous games with TEN, BAL and PIT.

Same kind of things happened to us today (e.g., Favorable ref calls) that happened for them in those games.

Same script today, only reversed in our favor.

Think that we are knocking on the door next season talent-wise, and if the chips fall for us, we could go all the way.

Agreed.

We need to embrace the run first identity and lean into it.

I sign Chubb no matter what. Don't care. He is a gamebreaker at RB, those are few and far between. It gives you a huge advantage every week to trot him out there. I wouldn't trade him for any other back, Henry, Cook, Kamara, McCaffrey... I'm taking Chubb.

Favorable ref calls? Didn't we have like 12 or 13 penalties called against us?

I've never seen refs call penalties 12+ times against a team yet were favoring that team at the same time.

Saquon Barkley is still better though because reasons

- 90% of FF.

Refs' calls were in our favor in the 1st half.
