Packers are smoking Tennessee, so I’ll give the Titans a L. So here’s how we clinch the playoffs, 1 of these has to happen:

Titans loss, Dolphins win

Colts loss

Browns win

In scenerio 1, why do the dolphins need to win.

Unfortunately the titans and colts both play bad teams next week.

Hopefully the Pat's pull of a big upset and the steelers clinch the #2 seed tomorrow.

If you can’t win one game out of four against Pittsburgh or Baltimore you shouldn’t expect to make it based on other teams winning/losing. Go beat the Steelers and claim your spot. Beyond that, better luck next year, get better.

I fully expect the Steelers to play to win next week. They aren’t just going to let an up and coming division contender take momentum and headspace by going uncontested into a playoff season, if they can stop it. Hopefully some dudes are back for next week. We need some guys who can catch passes.

Tiebreaker stuff...

Bills beat the Steelers so the Bills would still be the #2 seed if they beat Miami and we beat the Steelers.

Lol you guys are doing a little too much arm chair psychology with the Steelers assuming they care about the Browns

They’re probably 100x more worried about their 38 year old QB with a broken arm. If Ben lands awkwardly, do you really think Tomlin is thinking “at least we stopped those pesky Browns!”

Also, they’re not allowing fans this year, so seeding is completely irrelevant.

I’m gonna trust Vegas over battered fans.

Steelers haven’t had a bye week since week 4 btw

So Pittsburgh will play their starters against a team that, even if they lose with backups, they’d probably face round 1 again. So that they either don’t have to go to Buffalo (who also isn’t allowing fans in their stadium) or because they’re worried about Cleveland getting confidence? They’re willing to risk guys getting hurt or being exhausted because they’re that worried about Cleveland?

Some of you really overstate the Pittsburgh rivalry. We’re not rivals to them, Baltimore is. They’re not worried about Cleveland, it’s arrogant  at best and borderline clownish at worst to assume that. I’m not sure why some people still hold on to the belief that this is the 80’s and we are on their level. We went 0-16 when they were competing for a super bowl.

Think it’s most likely that Pitt has their starters play the first quarter and then sits them. Still bodes well for us if our offense is at full health.

What’s the point? You want your starters get rest. You have them do light walk thru through out the week and not play in the game. Playing even a Quarter ruins the rest they could Accumulate over the week. The games do the most damage. If you gonna rest, have them sit out the entire game.

Another scenario I forgot. If Tennessee loses to Green Bay and loses next week against Houston, we’re in even with a loss.

We’re in with a colts lose as well.

if we go by the Titans loss. We would need Miami and the ravens to win as well

Not sure what you mean

We beat both Baltimore and Pittsburgh last year

And came within a normal field goal of beating the Ravens

We also beat the Ravens and the Steelers by double digits .
