TheKillerNacho
I still don't understand why we traded Isaiah Ford though.

Only thing I can see is that they felt Hollins was already just as good as Ford, and that they had Callaway/Bowden/Perry waiting in the wings to contribute. Hollins scored more points last Sunday -- on one play -- than Ford did in his entire 3 years in Miami. That's all you need to know about the Ford trade...liked the guy but good luck with the Pats, Isaiah. Intrigued by the mismatch height of Hollins, he's a big dude, taller than Devante. Callaway is shorter but faster. He only just started practicing with the team due to his suspension so he does he know much of the offense yet? Would be nice to see unexpected new guys WR's Hollins, Callaway, RB's Ahmed and Washington contribute big vs the Chargers. This game is scary because the Chargers lost so many games they should've won. The law of averages says they will get it right soon.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Williams is shipped out sometime.

hrubes20
****. KVN and Christian Wilkins to the COVID list. Those are two big losses for this defense.

According to Barry Jackson: Quote If players don’t have the virus, their chances of playing would depend on when they were in close contact with someone who has the virus — something the team is not permitted to clarify. The NFL announced Oct. 13 that anyone with “high risk” contact exposure to a coronavirus-positive individual must isolate for five days, even if said person is negative and remains asymptomatic. But the key is that the five-day isolation must start from the day the player had the close contact, not the day the player was placed on the list. If Van Noy and Wilkins don’t have the virus but were in close contact with someone who has the virus on Tuesday or Wednesday, both players would be out Sunday. If both players don’t have the virus but had close contact with an infected person on Monday, both players conceivably could play Sunday. Emerica
It was going to happen at one point or another. We've been fairly untouched so far but losing both of them at the same time hurts. Were going to see a lot of AVG and Raekwon. Time to step up. Let's just cross our fingers and pray there won't be more bad surprises until Sunday. Edited November 13, 2020 by Emerica

Let's just cross our fingers and pray there won't be more bad surprises until Sunday. It is true that we have largely not been hit by the virus until now. We lost 5 coaches last week, and now we lose 2 key starters on a stellar defense. We would have been naïve to think that we would go untouched by the pandemic. It does feel a bit more like a trap game if these two guys are out. On an interesting side note, the Chargers placed former Dolphins RB Kalen Ballage put back on the practice squad. He ran for 69 yds and a TD and added 15 receiving yds vs the LV Raiders last week in Austin Ekeler's stead. I thought for sure we'd be seeing him play against his old team after a solid performance, but he won't even be dressed What a strange season he must be having be traded, un-traded, cut, signed, cut again, signed to a practice squad, added to active roster, and sent back down to the practice squad 🤪
TheKillerNacho
Two key members of our defense. This... isn't good. Our Linebacker depth is zero.
