Solid all around safety. Solid in coverage though he's not super rangy, very good in run support. I would say SS is his natural fit. He gets nicked up a little too frequently for my liking, but overall a very good player when he's on the field. Our defense is much better when he's on the field, I'll see if I can find it, but there was a statistic posted earlier this year showing opposing teams passer ratings when Tartt was on the field and when he was out, and it was a pretty drastic change: part of that may be because Marcell Harris was on the field, but he is still a plus player. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

More of a FS or SS? As @Gore Whore 21 said, he's just remarkably competent. There's nothing that he does that will wow you, but he just gets the job done. When he was hurt last year and missed a few games, our defense was horrific. It was super ugly on the back end. You will hardly ever say his name during a game, which is more good than bad. The worse thing about him is that he simply doesn't create turnovers for the most part (the game against Seattle last year where he stole from DK Metcalf is an exception) 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
