plan9misfit
I normally don’t start topics on particular players, but this one is too weird to ignore. The charges against him were dropped because the plaintiffs’ attorney was just arrested for extortion. https://www.google.com/amp/s/profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/11/16/armed-robbery-charges-against-deandre-baker-dropped/amp/ I’d sign Baker immediately. He’d be inexpensive, and was a solid talent at Georgia and a 1st round pick in 2019. It’s one less position to worry about come draft day. WizardHawk
Yeah, may as well. Could be a huge addition that pays off in spades.
D82
Baker was a bust of a 1st rounder even before these charges though...not really someone I'd take a shot on.

He was a rookie. They always take their lumps.

Matts4313
He has to have cleared waivers right? So he would be signing a vet contract? Have no clue what kind of money that would be, but it might be worth kicking the tires.
SweetFancyMoses
Assuming he'd be facing a 6 game suspension upon return. I mean heck Zeke wasn't even ever charged.

If we sign him, there'd definitely be a suspension. Any other team would be fine.
resilient part 2
my first thought is, what do we have to lose... then I thought, what if, he plays, makes a few good plays, and Dallas wins 👀 Edited November 16, 2020 by resilient part

Basically, the signing is to sandbag him for 2021 and beyond.

Tony7188
Don’t want him. He was terrible his first year in the league and if I recall correctly, he struggled mightily in zone. He’s only good as a press corner.
