Week 11 GDT: Pats visit Texans

7-2 in picks...going with NE by 3.

 

I think this will be quite a frustrating day, a bit deflating after such a high and most of the game it will be annoying and some of us (ha...guilty) will be saying 'looks like one of those days' in the GDT.

But ultimately we should win because Houston is ranked 26th in scoring (27.2 points/game), 27th in third down rate (47.9%), 29th in yards per play (6.1) and dead last in both takeaways (5) and turnover percentage (5.4%). Houston’s defense also is ranked near the bottom in the major advanced statistical categories.

And especially, given no other defense has surrendered up more rushing attempts (291), yards (1,507) and yards per attempt (5.2) on the ground this season, and the unit is also ranked last in the league in both EPA (0.100) and DVOA (5.5%).

 

They can't stop the run. So I think they manage to score some points with Watson and co. but we should be able to grind them down eventually. No weather help this time, but we shouldn't need it. Not if the OL plays like they did last time.

Looks like the D will get a ton of guys back this weekend. Houston can’t run the ball at all.

This is like the worst run defense in the league this should be an easy win. Expecting another big game from Damien Harris! Pats to win 30-13

No Butler is more key than people may think. Very underrated. A DL with size that can rush the passer and hold anchor against run. He's not going to blow anyone away, but he's solid and dependable. SH!!
