If Peart in the off-season has not develop we still have Solder as a backup plan. The only wideout free agent wideout I want is Allen Robinson, Kenny Golladay is hurt too often to give him a big contract. If DL and WR a reach with the 11th pick, what position would not be. We could also use a #2 CB and another Linebacker would either of those positions not be a reach? Yea, I think Parsons or either CB i mentioned would be good value at 11. My fear is that Gettleman has shown he will reach for a perceived need over value

CB is decent this time around though, a guy like Caleb Farley or Patrick Surtain II could be in play for us.
minutemancl
The WR depth in this draft is insane, just like last year. Jaylen Waddle, Rashod Bateman, and Rondale Moore will all be available at 11. Hell, Devonta Smith may even be available at 11. If we want a rookie playmaker WR, we can get one. The bigger question is if the Giants would rather address WR in FA or the draft. If they choose FA, I'd prefer Chris Godwin over anyone else. That allows the #11 pick to go towards either an edge rusher or a corner. At edge, to me Kwity Paye is the only option at 11. At corner, Caleb Farley or Patrick Surtain will both possibly be available, and both are very good prospects. We are sitting at a nice spot at 11. There are a bunch of guys I'd be happy with. Trevor Lawrence, Zack Wilson, Caleb Farley, Patrick Surtain, Kwity Paye, Devonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, Rondale Moore, Jamar Chase, Penei Sewell, Rashawn Slater, Micah Parsons are all guys I think are gonna be great NFL players. That's 12, and it doesn't include Justin Fields (who I don't like), Trey Lance (who I also don't like), and Kyle Pitts (who I don't want with Evan Engram presumably on the roster next year). minutemancl
I will say, I think Waddle or Surtain are our guys. They are both Saban guys, fit huge needs, and have loads of talent. I got some grief around draft time last year for saying I thought Waddle and Smith were better than Jeudy and Ruggs, but I stand by that, which is easy to say now since it looks like it may very well be true. I think he showed marked improvement throughout the season. He threw one interception over his last 6 games and we all know that was a well-thrown ball that Engram should have caught. That despite being sacked more this year than last year. And this all coming with WRs that just were not getting any separation and an OL that was consistently giving up pressures. There were surely many bad throws that could have been interceptions so I get that you can't take away INTs that weren't his fault but even still, he significantly cut down on his turnovers throughout the season. Jones was still had the 3rd highest passer rating on throws deep down the field (per PFF). The turnovers dropped tremendously as Thomas started to play better, but our O-Line was putrid this year. Taking Thomas over Becton, Willis, and Wirfs (especially Willis who I didn't think would be this good so quickly) will forever stain Gettleman's resume (Saquon over Nelson looks worse every year, but I'll stop bringing this up lol). Quote Some other thoughts: 1. Darius Slayton's regression was probably the most disappointing development of the season (other than Saquon going down, of course). He just disappeared in the second half of the season and it seemed he lost any ability to come up with contested catches. Maybe teams just focused on slowing him and it exposed that he's not a true #1? He has to get stronger if he's going to continue to be a contributor. 2. Evan Engram has to go. They picked up his option so he'll be here next year but he is not a good football player. The fact that he's a pro bowler is a joke. Time to move on or diminish his role. Outside of Barkley and Shepard when he is feeling it, we have no real options for Jones to throw too. His supporting cast was awful everywhere. From the O-Line to the Skill Positions, players continued to let Jones down. Have to think along with a new OC this offseason, the offense will probably be completely remade. I still believe Jones has franchise QB potential, but we need to create an environment where he can continue to grow. That won't happen with what he has to deal with now. Quote 3. As well as Gallman played stepping in for Saquon, I have to assume we are headed for a mid-round RB draft pick. Dion Lewis did nothing except fumble kick returns and Gallman is nearing the end of his rookie deal. Every RB except for Saquon is a UFA. Maybe they bring back Freeman or Morris at veteran minimum for some continuity but it's hard to imagine NYG and Gallman will agree financially. There are some decent back up options in the fourth and fifth round this year. We could easily find a guy there.
Gmen
I competed in NFL's Big Data Bowl this year. Probably won't win because there are so many good submissions, but pretty proud of my work. Thought I'd share it here https://www.kaggle.com/pvabish/comprehensive-pass-coverage-grading When you see Next Gen Stats powered by AWS commercials next season where they're talking about defensive coverage, the Big Data Bowl is where that work originated from Edited January 7, 2021 by Gmen
