-Hope-
to my very uninformed eye (because what do we really know lol) all the outside candidates seem really strong with the possible exception of the cardinals guy, but cunningham really checks so many boxes. he's been on both the college and pro scouting side, he's been at multiple organizations, he's cut his teeth under ozzie newsome and howie roseman. the only thing is he's a little green with one year as an assistant GM, but honestly, if he's got it he's got it. would be perfectly happy if he's the guy.

Yeah, I’m a fan of all the outside candidates(Harris the only one I’m shaky on) but Cunningham has the lead above everyone else for me. If there’s one guy I want a personnel guy to learn under, it’s Ozzie Newsome. But it’s not just Newsome. He’s also worked with or under Eric Decosta, Joe Douglas and Howie Roseman. That’s arguably three of the top 10 GMs currently in the NFL, that he was able to pick the mind of/bounce ideas with. Like Hope said, it’s really an ideal blend for a GM candidate and I’d be more than pleased if he ends up being the choice.

KingTitan
QB talk from the guy. Treat as rumors. All QBs likely gone in top 15 based on early talk in scouting circles. If hooker was healthy. It would be 5 QBs for sure in 1st round. Hooker still could go too. Senior bowl really helped him. There isn't a big gap between Stroud and Hooker. Titans really loved their time with him. People are excited to talk to Richardson. He is too much of a physical freak with true skills to not be taken high. Willis was given specific things to work on in off season. Spot isn't guaranteed. Dobbs coming back is definitely on the list. Tannehill is literally the million dollar question. Hard to see him not back. But the contract is an issue for the team. It's either going to be extended or gone. Titans are doing real homework on all the prospects and determining their best approach on the quarterback position.
titansNvolsR#1
On one hand, put this GotG info straight into my veins. On the other hand, if we use a second round pick on Hendon Hooker then I'm going to be so annoyed.
615finest
Sounds like we really like Hooker, and to say the gap isn’t big between Stroud and Hooker is something I wouldn’t have thought. I definitely expect Richardson to blow up the combine and be gone by 7. I really want Willis to put it all the together because he has the tools to work with, if his spot isn’t guaranteed I wonder if we try to trade him to a team that feels like they can develop him
KingTitan
Hearing Coach Mac talk on the radio this morning, I think it's important to remember that you draft the QB that fits what you want to do. Saying Hooker is highly thought of doesn't equal we will go out our way to get him. I'm sure GMs come across a lot of impressive players but don't want them as football players. lol I'm 50/50 on Willis. He seems like a great guy, speaking of great guys. But not entirely sure he will be the QB we end up having. Went back and looked, 3rd round QBs in particular sometimes don't last more than 2 seasons with a team. I mean Dobbs was 4th round and bounced around. You don't get many chances.
TitanRedd
It’s a big gap between stroud & hooker, I don’t see hooker making tight window throws like stroud, my opinion the only knock I see in hooker is he reads half a field right now he’s Jared Goff but he has joe burrow ceiling if coached right
ttitansfan4life
No offense but Hooker doesn’t have close to the arm talent that Stroud does and I’m not exactly a huge fan of Stroud.
SerenityNow
I'm starting to wonder if we're thinking about trading down from 11 into a range that is more suitable to take Hooker and get the 5th year option on him while also stockpiling some picks to still address OT and WR. I think he'd fit really nicely in our offense. The age and injury aren't ideal, but you take those two things out of the equation, and he'd be a no doubt top 10 pick. With the trajectory he was on prior to the injury there's no way that you'd be taking Levis or Richardson over him in the top 10 if the injury hadn't happened. A Heisman frontrunner that was potentially on the way to leading Tennessee to a National Championship. The injury is what it is and it's a concern, but there's no way he's any worse than the 3rd QB in this class based off of his film.

Right, & me & you go back N forth bout stroud & Young. Young no doubt is the best QB in the draft just undersized. I just feel arm talent stroud is the best QB but if he learns how to read the field like young & gets around a OC & QB coach that can tap can tap into his potential he’s going to be a problem
