Per source, the Broncos sent several hours of surveillance tape from the QB meeting room, along with contact tracing data and interviews to the league on Friday morning. This is something that wouldn’t happen if we had a real owner who had respect of the powers that be in NY. Once the season is over in January, one of two things needs to happen ASAP - sell the team and give each of the Bowlen kids a cut or just hand the keys to Brittany. Enough already with Ellis and the trust trying to move at a snails pace and line their pockets. Except that the FO hasn’t made that case publicly to the league / media appealing it. The video probably is why the league ok’d the practice. More info came on Sat with contact tracing where it was disclosed players didn’t mask. Deeper dives and interviews are a normal part of contact tracing. It’s likely then where the breach in mask wearing was disclosed. If Den players masked completely and didn’t have meetings without masks during the exposure window - Elway & co. would be appealing this and making this public and official to the league. No way around it. If they stand up officially I believe them. Until they do - this is a Klis apologist post for the FO given the ****storm the org is rightfully getting. Especially since Fangio already broke the rules and was penalized. I get the FO needs to spin this. But until they are willing to state for the record there weren’t violations that occurred that merited being on the Covid-19 list - they have zero credibility. The one thing that could be worse than Lock at all times is going to happen.
