Karnage84
It is what it is. It's unfortunate it didn't work out. Now we are on the hunt. Really hoping to see the organization take a step forward under SFH.
MrLionzz
Breaking News---- They are both contesting the firing and have filed multiple lawsuits. They are not going anywhere.
MrLionzz
Couldn't resist. Now for our Head Coach and new OC and GM. Dan Orlovsky should be our OC that I know. Maybe the oc from KC for HC.
TL-TwoWinsAway
Credit to SFH for handling the situation appropriately: keeping Patricia after an injury-plagued 2019 and giving him a 3rd season to prove himself was the right move. Not firing him after CAR - on a short week - and firing both he and Quinn after an embarrassing Thanksgiving loss, with extra time, was also the right move. Her handling of this situation gives me hope for the future.

Superduperman
I still put Marinelli as worst Lions coach of my lifetime but Patricia is a solid #2
diehardlionfan
One dumpster fire over. Now, hopefully ownership has developed a responsible plan to hire replacements.

He was also saddled with Millen.

Sllim Pickens
Should give us dibs on getting a GM. Need to hire someone within the next few weeks IMO so they are ready to go for coach hiring at season end.

Her handling of this situation gives me hope for the future. I don’t think keeping him was the right move, and i’m Not saying that in hindsight. I think it was painfully obvious he was completely lost. Instead of firing him and getting a head start on good candidates we stuck with him and Quin then sank all of our resources into ex-patriots “that fit the scheme”. These guys are also eating up our salary cap next year and they are scheme specific guys. This is the same sort of garbage that Marinelli did and it destroyed the team. If you just need “your guys” you are destined to fail. I’m pretty sure it’s been proved around the league to be the case. Though i think doing this after Thanksgiving was the right move if you are going to do it in season.
