Other random draft thoughts @beekay414

• Brandon Boston Jr tanked his stock probably as much, if not more, than any draft prospects. I like his upside in the 2nd round though and think he's worth taking a swing on.

• Charles Bassey is an intriguing prospect later in the draft for teams looking for some rim protection.

• Ibou Dianko-Badji is extremely raw and at least a couple years from being able to contribute but he has elite length/size and could be a guy if a team is patient with him.

i probably was harsh on bassey a few months ago when i posted i wasnt a fan based on Houston playing him very good. Looking at him more I wouldnt mind him with pick 23 or 24.  I think he would compliment Christian Wood well.

What you see is what you get with Bassey, is he ever going to be a great offensive player? Probably not. But pretty much every draft cycle there's a big, long, athletic rim running big man that goes in the late 1st to early 2nd and becomes a good starting center in the league.

His defense will be much better in the league than his offense.  If he could carve out a David West career on offense then he will be good.

I've seen him compared Gorgui Dieng and I think that's a pretty solid one.

If you keep your pick but it's not #1 who do you want?

In this order:

Jalen Green

Evan Mobley

Jalen Suggs

Would be happy with either of those 3.  I have Green and Mobley rated equal. If we take Kuminga over them 3 I wouldnt be pissed but at the same time I wouldnt be happy.
