The Bad: So similar to last year, good start horrible finish to the season, hope not but it's the Raiders. The Ugly: The offense scoring 6 points. Neutral: - Look, the defense did it's job today, for the unit that they are. Anyone who just goes, "hey look 43 points! Defense was trash!" clearly wasn't watching the game. The defense allowed one long drive the entire game, and were playing pretty good football the first three quarters. When your offense cannot score a TD, and keeps fumbling a million times giving the offense a short field, any defense is gonna give up 30-40 points. You can claim some games are like 10-7, but the fact is the offense kept turning it over and putting our defense in terrible situations. Bad: - Jacobs did not look good today. - Waller did not look good today. - Still lacking pressure on defense. Ugly: - Carr was absolutely atrocious today. Reverted back to his 2017-2019 self with this game. Looked really, really awful. This is the type of "shut down" we were referring to with Carr. Some games he just gets totally shut down. He was easily the worst player on the field today, sorry, but not an over exaggeration. I've praised Carr all year long, I can also criticize him after a horrible performance. It is indeed a two way street. One of the worst QB games for any QB all year long. Easily. - Gruden was also pure trash today. Play calling was bad, he was conservative, and just totally inconsistent week to week. - OL was trash today, Parker specifically. Bad game all around as a unit though. You underestimate Frankie, he'll come in here saying we gave up 43 points was the problem, when the offense did our defense dirty all day, and any offense turning the ball over that rapidly will have their team give up 40+ points. Dessie Posted November 29, 2020 Share Posted November 29, 2020 Good - Renfrow, Ruggs catch, Abram pick Bad- Penalties, far too many and backbreaking ones as well. 2 offensive penalties when 1st and goal at the 3. Injuries to Arnette, Good, Kwit, Mullen. Ugly - Carr. Terrible today, fumbles, pick 6 were critical. Offensive line- Terrible all day in both run and pass game.
