We finally lure Matt Campbell out of Iowa State. Great program builder. Leader of men. Joe D finally gets his guy. Gives him autonomy to build his staff unlike Macc and Rhule.

This is a very very very optimistic mock.

I think the 1st rounder for Darnold is a goner and we are fighting hard for that 2. His stock is crashing like Bear Sterns in 08.

If we resign Perriman and sign Allen Robinson, no need to draft a WR on either the first two days...we would be set. 

If this actually happened the team would be very good, I just dont see free agency happening like this.

I like this mock a lot by staying away from TE and RB in the first 2 rounds. I just watched an interview where a guy is checking in with GM on what they think of Darnold. The majority of them say he a lot more talented than Rosen so the Jets will do better than a 2 and 5 round pick. They say his value is somewhere between a low 1st or pair of seconds. His low floor is around 2nd and 3rd round pick. I still think he ends up a 49er, or Steeler. I think they will move their first for him especially if they don't like who is on the board and they think a 23 year old QB who has a great chance to be your future QB. The GM also think it has been coaching, poor WR and OL plays that have killed his talent.

Darnold will bring us back a 2nd at best. Probably more like a 3rd. So it's just not realistic.
