QBIso
Maybe he whined? Just a speculative idea. Seems like he was good and relatively young. Weird.

Will isn't the whiney type. He has one of the more super nice and likable personalities out there. I'm going to ahead and assume Philly tried to make him something he's not and probably played him out of position. He is best around the LOS, blitzing, coming up to stop runs and he can cover RBs/TEs in man within 10-15 yards of the line. He's essentially a nickel linebacker. If your playing him in deep coverage like a traditional safety in cover 2 it's not going to work out. BroncoBruin
Back in Denver, where he’s beloved by fans, teammates and Fangio. Very cool.
ninjapirate
Goes to show you how good Howie is when the guy you cut has 4 waiver claims put in on him.

Schwartz is notorious for trying to fit a square peg into his round hole of a defense. Literally no adaptability or flexibility with his approach. This is my Defense, You adapt. Not the other way around where most DC adapt and create accordingly around the players they have.

He is not a downfield cover safety, his best attribute is his tackling ability and versatility being able to cover multiple positions. Similar to a Mark Barron type. If he's not being dropped down and used as a extra LB/SS in Nicole then he is out of position Edited December 6, 2020 by AkronsWitness
