I was just coming to to post about this. I see Mosely is questionable and like you mentioned is your 3rd nickel corner. Just like the Bills offense is different when John Brown is in, it's also much different and way more effective when Beasley gets going in the pass game. I consider him an extension of the run game with his ability to get us to 2nd and short and 3rd and short.

Just a caveat to this, Moseley may technically be our 3rd nickel, but he's been a starting corner for us the last 2 seasons and has been very good for us. He has not played nickel much at all in his pro career, so it will be interesting to see how he handles it.
soflbillsfan
This game has so many playoff implications, of course every game moving forward but we need to take this opportunity. Both NE and Miami won this week putting them closer to the Bills in the division. Miami has Bills, Pats, KC, and Vegas left. With Vegas having back to back weeks of struggles they can possibly lose to Miami. Beating KC will take a lot of luck, then it comes down to NE and Bills. This will determine whether or not they make the playoffs this year. Then you have NE again playing both Miami and Buf, plus the Jets and Rams. I think Rams can pull it out but the Jets just dont even know how to win after yesterdays game proving the coaching is inept or they know they need to lose to get Lawrence either way I do not see that team winning so it will come down to again the Bills and Dolphins on whether or not the Pats have a playoff chance. Finally outside the division Titans lost which means bills can slide in to the 3rd spot in the playoff hunt which can be a great chance to avoid having to play KC as I strongly believe they will land in the #1 seed. Pitt will likely lose at least one game before the year is up. As they have to face Bills and Colts who are both fighting to win their division . They seem to be confident in beating the bills which is normal for fanbase but they do post some insightful information. I do think milano coming back whether or not will be on a snap count will be beneficial because we can easily go to more of a traditional 4-3 formation that we did in 2019 making Klein rush the passer while milano drops back in coverage as well as him being able to set the edge on the run game like he has done very well in 2019. We should be rushing 5 as much as possible like we have done in the past few weeks as mullen's decision making is suspect and feeling the heat will make him mess up. Aiyuk is coming back for them so him and deebo could present an issue but tre and levi should be able to lock them up. Leaving Mostert the key guy to shut down. if we can shut the run down early and start fast on the offense they will have to start playing catch up which will resort to more passing and less running. One thing on their forum is that the niners d struggles against running qbs (murray and wilson) if Allen's ankle is 100% we should be seeing a heavy dose of him running in the game as daboll has seemed to be in a grove this year by working on the opponents defensive weaknesses. Hopefully allen being able to run will also open up the run game as moss/singletary need to get going some more. Diggs will likely be facing double teams as you mention forcing guys like Davis, Beasley and knox being the focal point in the passing game. I also wouldnt mind putting mckenzie out there and have him run deep and give a couple shots down field just to keep the defense honest . If bills do not score early and allow niners to hang around they can blow this game but if they manage to come out strong early and dont let up they should win 34-21 Bills Confident? Oh, I don't think many Niners fans are confident. There is some hope that we can win this game but that is mainly due to how the defense is playing. For me, it wasn't only the win against the Rams but just how dominant the defense has looked in the last two games. Sherman being back last week is HUGE and making the switch at FS completely changed this defense. I have very little confidence in Mullens but we do have a boatload of weapons and will finally have Aiyuk and Deebo together. Locking up Deebo is an interesting comment due to how he is used. He can be the most effective offensive player with only two catches while he will have four runs for like 60 yards. His impact goes much further than just if the outside corner can keep him in check. He adds an element to the run game that just isn't there when he's not playing. The best way to defend this team is still going man and having your corners play up close to the LOS while bringing the blitz. This OL may be the worst OL in league in picking up blitzes. I kid you not, the Saints ran the same slot corner blitz like 10 times and each time the corner either sacked Mullens or disrupted the play. The Bills defense by all accounts is looking much better as of late so you guys are the ones that should feel confident in winning this game. I personally just see our defense putting together another strong effort and our backs breaking a few big runs to come away with a tight win. Good luck! I hope you didn't take it as a shot because when I said confident I didnt mean in It in a negative way. I think all fans of their teams will be confident in their team it just interesting to read what your team forum has to say compared to the opponent. I liked a lot of what was said in the forum about this game on the niners aspect of it and it all sounds similar, so each person on there sees the pros and cons or strengths and weaknesses of the team. I do believe the niners will be a tough match and wouldnt be overly surprised if they pull it off because the bills tend to allow that to happen. With Bills defense finally being 100% healthy (if they do decide to activate milano) will be the first time this year to have every starter on the field. So man to man as you mention is going to be something the bills will be doing majority of the game because Mcdermott trusts Levi and Tre to be able to be that in the situation. Also last week they proved to be able to jam Keenan Allen up at the line which put his route off and only held him to 40 yards, which majority came off of zone play and only 1 catch in man coverage. Bills d has led the league in generating the most pressure on the qb in the last 6 games and I expect them to continue the blitzing especially on a weak oline that you mentioned forcing Mullen to have to make quick decisions, hopefully errors. Deebo is a big threat and I would not be surprised that they do not have a plan to stop him on the run game as well. It will be an interesting one that is for sure. I agree (I've been wrong about them all season) That said - They are still my preferred first round matchup Edit: okay - the Raiders would be my preferred matchup, but I think if we're being realistic our best case scenario is the 3rd seed since we are 3 back of the Steelers and 2 back of the Chiefs (and lose the tiebreaker). This means our potential matchups are with seeds 6 or 5, and I don't see a team like the Raiders or the Dolphins getting to those seeds Edited December 7, 2020 by Tk3

I do worry about that - but I have no fear when it comes to that defense, even with Garrett I'm a little more worried about the Titans - maybe because I saw it firsthand earlier this season. I think he is more scary than Chubb/Hunt, and their defenses are fairly equitable The Colts have by far the best defense of the teams in question and would rather avoid them, personally Curious who other's would most prefer to see out of the 3.. I think it's fairly unlikely that we could face a 1st round matchup with the Dolphins, Raiders, or Ravens
Trentwannabe
I think tonight is a good indication of how we’d stack up against Cleveland and Indy. Can we stop a team that wants to run the ball? Can our offense continue to score consistently enough to force teams to pass more then they want? Maybe I should rephrase. can we stop a team from running when they don’t have much semblance of a passing game? Getting Milano back helps in the run game big time. I think our secondary being healthy enough gives us the opportunity to stack the box.

I think SF runs wild on us tonight. We are going to need chunk plays from the offense tonight. I need to see a few deep balls to Diggs and Davis.
