August4th
I think Juju had 7 catches for like 28 yards? WTH.the offense is like terrified to attack the middle despite having several big targets in Juju, Ebron and Claypool. this offense is just so out of whack right now

We have the same exact issues every ******* year under him. No, he doesn't have to lay everything out to the media...but lets not act like he handles some of these problems...at all, really. This. I have no problem knowing we get 1% of the story and absolutely no issue with Tomlin not making “headlines”. But what change actually happens? Just often feel like there is an expectation that everyone will get better organically (which does fall in lines with how I view Tomlin). But think back to last years offense and the wildcat, something Tomlin openly said after the first game use that it was a one-time use thing mostly likely as people will plan for it and it loses its effect. Enter the Ravens game, and 2 awful turnovers in their red area. Then, later in the year, wildcat in our redzone ends a scoring opportunity against the Bills. Tomlin has all the power in the world to say hey...we are done with the wildcat in XYZ situation, but there’s no change there. Here we are, two weeks in a row with just baffling subs in key situation (goaline and 4th and 1). This stuff is easy, and history says we will just see it again. Draw with Snell that fails? Seen that before. Awful screen game...nah, one more time will do the trick. Pull your LG who can’t get to the edge fast enough on goaline, it’s on the third movie now! Eric Ebron fails at blocking, more please! Spread 22 personnel with the high paid FB on the wing? I live for it! Bottom line, this team continually fails at the same things over and over again and the message is: do it better. That’s for sure part of it, but the self scout here is nonexistent. X’s and O’s is a problem in the offensive room, and the things we did well at the beginning of the year are phasing out (hey faux motion, good to see you again). Some of that’s Ben, some is the players executing, some of its coaching. But beating your head against a door won’t always open it. Sometimes trying the doorknob will do the trick.

Take away the running game, get arms up on the DLine because our $30m QB hardly throws the ball past 7 yards anymore and those passes are batted diwn easily. Our defense still struggles covering TEs and RBs...and Washington exposed that big time. This is a one and done playoff team. We might eek out one win if we're lucky. Baltimore will win the one that matters, and KC will slaughter us like Brady and BB used to. Nexr year, we will go through the same crap again. We all know what we are getting with Tomlin coached teams.

3rivers
Bills look legit, and then how about the Browns yesterday. Those teams are playing good, we aren't. They are also on our schedule, and if we lose, chances are there goes the #1 seed too. I don't know if the Chiefs will lose another game . They need to find a run game or its one and done...and that lose could look ugly too if they go up against a defense like the Ravens

Dcash4
Chase Young had two killer comments after the game. “We played with more passion” “Baltimore exposed some things” The first one can be understandable, the second can be frightening. If we can’t run the ball or pass downfield and throw it in 2.2 seconds, there’s no reason to rush or play deep. Flood the shallow/intermediate with bodies, make tight windows, tackle the catch, and get your hands up instead of trying to get the QB. Steelers need a counter. Better come prepared next week. I serously doubt a Randy led offense can gameplan a counter to whats going on... best case is conner/Pouncy coming back to help the run game some..but that's about it Edited December 8, 2020 by August4th

So, someone had to lose out, on a team that prides itself on players playing all positions - X, Y and F. A player had 3 drops last week. The player that was benched, did not have 3 drops last week. But Rand-o doesnt gameplan for opponents. He calls plays written on his little card before the season. We don’t gameplan, we do us.
August4th
snell had 8 carries for 5 yards(Mcfarland should probably get more carries over him, he might hit a 20 yard on accident with his speed) Juju 7 catches for 28 yards claypool just 2 catches in a game were we threw the ball 53 times what is this Ebron 8 catches and Johnson 7, but neither topped 75 yards..oh and the drops Edited December 8, 2020 by August4th
