BackinBlack
strickly speaking numbers. We gave up 29.9 points per game. only 3, THREE, teams in the nfl scored more points per game than that. Green Bay (Rodgers), Tampa (Brady) Buff (Allen) So any other team wouldve been looking at around an .500 record giving up that many points per game. 2 of the best qbs to ever play, and then Allen who could be the MVP - It is crazy the lack of understanding that is going on here. 29.9 points a game given up! Yikes that is ugly. How the hel did we manage to be 8-8 lol

Isn't it the threshold to greatness anymore? Total tds? Or just passing?

It was literally just us having trash receiving options? You keep saying theres always an excuse. There is not this year. We were a top 10 O. Carr doesnt play D. 13th tds per game

Obviously I want more TDs, but point still stands. We were top 10 in points. and if more of those came from FGs, then that means our % of drives with points scored has to be higher than most. because it takes 2 fgs for the same amount of points. So our O was able to move ball, and score points at high % of drives. That helps our D. again, we were top 10 in points scored. our D was bottom 3 in points against.

And starting the game with a 3 n out usually gives the defense a short field to defend. Again difference between #10 defense and #30 is a td per game This discussion is going nowhere bro. Changing QBs would be a sin for them even though after 7 seasons the team has went nowhere with him under center. Every player but the QB is different since he got here. There is no downside to replacing Carr but there is also no upside of keeping him. I don't know where this acceptance of losing but you wonder why teams like us are always watching the playoffs at home.
BackinBlack
More fun facts: 3rd worst D in scoring 9th most penalty yards giving up per game 7th most penalties per game 3rd worst in takeaways per game - - - In what world, can you have a terrible D in points and takeaways, that also is top 10 in penalties, go 8-8 and still blame the O?

We’re in the afc west with kc and up and coming Chargers we’re held to different standards than the nfl. Honestly what’s your ranking of qbs in the afc west. Imo 1) pat 2) herbert 3) carr 4) lock not a knock on carr but our division is no joke

We will continue to be Mediocre middle of the pack team with Carr as QB. The illusion that we are all of sudden gonna become an elite team under him won't happen. how about we try and make this defense middle of the pack and ride the offense to the playoffs. Yall keep ignoring the facts.

Id have it Pat clearly number 1, herbert carr (but close, interchangable) then Lock. - If our goal is to have the best QB in the division, then we will be drafting QBs in the top 5 every year for a long time. at some point, you have to adapt to the situation and learn how to win without the best qb. BackinBlack
also, the jets carolina and detroit were in the top 5 for least fumbles per game, with the jets being #1 haha
