Waiting for what? I don't look at W/L as a QB stat. Both guys are with bad organizations. I go by what I see and Stafford by far an away a better pure passer than Carr. Smoother in the pocket and pressure doesn't bother him. He's also been to the playoffs a couple times.

Carr is B- QB whom Gruden has gotten to a B. Stafford is a B+ who McVey will push to A

I don't care about Stafford. I wanna hear the explanation why his W/L record doesn't matter from those who claim it's a relevant stats for QBs. I don't think you did so i'm not expecting it from you.

You can prove it by looking at how valued Stafford was in trade with several teams involved and the Panthers reportedly offering up #8 overall. If Carr could command that in a trade, Mayock/Gruden would jump effortlessly. Teams know Carr has limitations to his game.

Everyone is sleeping on Stafford because he's been with a terrible organization his entire career. The same organization Calvin Johnson decided to retire early from.

Stafford is a deep ball specialist. He's led the NFL in game winning drives three separate times in his career and has 31 all time ranking among the top QBs to play.

Stafford is about to blow up under McVey. It will be the first time he plays in an offense that maximizes his talent as a QB. It's going to be fun to watch.

Well if you want to talk draft rumors/reports I remember reading the Patriots wanted to trade for DC.  If Belichik wants him, then chances are he's worth something.  I think that "report" alone speaks more highly of Carr than what the Lions got for Stafford.  Besides, anyone that has followed the story knows the Rams only gave up that much draft capital because of Goff's contract.  His play clearly does not warrant his salary.

Panthers are stupid for trying to move on from Bridgewater.  They aren't ready.  Again, I think DC could light the NFL on fire with the Rams and all of their talent on offense.

You really didn't prove anything btw.

Yes sir and they’ll be playing for the chip while we’re at home watching again

I’m failing to see your point.  You said TB spent the least on a Defense.  I said yes that’s technically true but it’s because they’ve drafted heavily on defense and a good chunck of the defense is draft picks on a rookie deal.

And your your stating the obvious fact that we missed the playoffs and their in the SB.  What’s your point?

they’ve made good draft picks and FA signings and we haven’t.  That’s the difference.

Nah I call BS. Far and away? Hell no. The eye test doesn't support this and neither do the numbers in recent years.

Looking more likely Carr has played his last down as a Raider

if it leads to Watson lets go.

People have said this the last 2 offseasons though. It could be agents using the raiders to drive up value. We see that in FA all the time, wouldbt be shocked if they do in trades too

I am actually against the idea of moving Carr and draft assets for a QB like Watson tbh. Watson certainly is an upgrade but we're not a QB away from being a contender. Plus trading for someone like Watson would tank our cap situation going forward and we'd be without draft assets or cap space to continue our rebuild.

I'd prefer to invest heavily into our defense in the draft and free agency this offseason. And if we're going to move on from Carr I'd prefer to draft someone so we can have a QB on a rookie deal for the next 5 years.

Is this Carr stuff real?

If it is, I am sure the Bears will be in. 4000 yards and 30 TDs would be parade worthy in Chicago.

Would they trade him it if didn’t lead to Watson? Would they just trade him and role with Mariota?

a few fans hate Carr and think he is the source of all the problems. ignoring the pathetic defense and lack of talent over the years. reasoning: JUST WIN BABY..he's not bombing 3 50 yard bombs for tds every week. or because he doesn't scramble with swag....lol
