Ragnarok
CAMDEN Offense Final game of the year for us unless something miraculous happens so here we go. Lancaster is a great football team, probably one of the favorites to take home the Bizz Bowl now that they're getting healthier at the right time. Our goal is to make sure they don't go into the playoffs on a high note though, here's how we'll do it. Move the pocket- Baker is definitely a top 32 QB in this league, and when he shows that off better than anything is when he's rolling out and moving the pocket, targeting TE's, moving the chains until a big play can happen. Today we'll use lots of roll outs and boot legs for Baker to get him comfortable. Lancaster has a very strong DL so it would be foolish to just simply drop back and allow our offense to be predictable. Harris and Snell will stay in to block on most passing downs. Target the TE's- With Gronk and Ertz active today, we'll let them work the intermediate part of the field. Gonna be honest here, Lancaster rarely actually identifies a coverage shell they want to utilize so it's tough to say if they'll run man or zone but either way the TE's will be crucial today. Gronk will be used more often to work the seam of the field, stretching the LB's/Safeties that may be in coverage and Ertz will be more of the chain mover. These two should not only help Baker get in a rhythm, but also help unclog the field for quick passing lanes for my WR's. Quick passing for YAC- Fun fact, while Titardia may say AJ Brown has more drops than catches this year, he also has as many broken tackles as Ezekiel Elliott has on the ground this season. So if you get the ball in his hands quickly, and by the Grace of God he catches it, he's probably going to make it tough on defensive backs to bring him down. Same thing with Kupp, he's got more broken tackles this year than DK Metcalf and that guys a freak, so imagine the physical specimen that Kupp is. Listed at 210, but the Rams sub forum will say he's more likely 230 lbs. We'll frequently line them up side by side to work double slants, opposite sides to work slant/drag combos and some double move stuff in there. The goal is quick passing to neutralize that great rush, and keep Baker in a rhythm. Damien Harris section- I still have to put a Damien Harris section here until someone puts some respek on his name. He's been slowed in recent weeks by the realization that Cam is now a horrendous QB so all you have to do is force him to pass, but we'll already be passing here today so expect Harris to dominate when he touches the ball. Talking a 16/146/2 stat line today easy. With many crucial blocks in pass pro too, just to show off his skills. Defense (press cover 3 base) Well, these guys are pretty good on offense, mainly because of Russ, but they have lots of other good options on that side of the ball as well. Cover 3- Russ is one of the best deep ball throwers in the game, probably only behind Tannehill in that area. We're gonna roll out a press cover 3 today just avoid having any big worry in that area. We'd love to run our favorite cover 1 a bit more often in this game, but with the emergence of a guy like Pittman we'll limit that today to take pressure off just a single high man in coverage having to worry about multiple players getting down field. This also gives us plenty of guys to clog the intermediate part of the field. Here is what the cover 3 looks like: Blitz packages- Jamal Adams has 6.5 sacks in 7 games this year and Leonard has shown the ability to also rush the passer with 12 sacks in his first two seasons. So in our cover 3 zone scheme today we'll work them in multiple blitzes to try to get after Russ. With essentially having4 safeties on the field today, Adams will play a LB role and that will help disguise what he's doing from snap to snap. This also gives us the flexibility to play in coverage while being physical in the short areas/flats with Russ targeting his bigger WR's in those areas. It will also gives us the same flexibility with Kamara/Sanders coming out of the backfield. Athletic enough to cover those guys, physical enough to take them down in run support. Make Logan Thomas beat us- Our goal is to have everything else covered so well today, that only Logan Thomas will have the ability to win this game for Russ and Co. Thomas is their only real TE this week, but he's been a solid red zone target this season so I wanted to give him some attention inside the 20 this week LANCASTER Lancaster Offensive Strategy: Our gameplan this week is to just try to run all over Camden's front 7. We feel their DL is particularly weak against the run and that's what we want to exploit. When we do pass we'll be doing lots of play action to create bigger windows for our WRs down the field. We want to keep it simple this week and keep our offense on the field, eating up the clock and letting our defense get plenty of rest. The Passing Strategy: The passing game is going to take a bit of a back burner to the running game today but that doesn't mean we won't let Wilson take his shots. We plan to use plenty of 2 RB sets with Kamara and Sanders in the backfield where we may motion one or occasionally both out wide. When we pass we're going to be using play action stuff to help set up our WRs. As usual screens will also be a big part of our offense. The gameplan even when passing will have an element of "get the ball to Kamara" to it. The Running Strategy: We want to mix things up with our runs this week. Probably the biggest hole on Camden's whole team right now is their interior DL so we aren't going to be afraid to just run it right at them. As usual we want to use pulling guards so trap runs galore will be used. Also we'll have our usual tosses and pitches to the outside to get Kamara the ball in space and let him make guys miss. Lancaster Defensive Strategy: Our defense is a bit undermanned in the secondary due to injuries right now. We hope to keep the defense off the field as much as possible (see offensive game plan) so that the guys we do have out their can stay fresh. We're going to switch to a more zone coverage type of scheme today as well against Baker which will allow us to give him some looks that can confuse him. The Pass Defense Strategy: This week we're using a Cover 3 base defense where Ramsey, Alexander, and Jackson will cover the back end and Harris Jr., Bell, Wagner, and Warner will stay down in the short/intermediate parts of the field. We want to use this to try to confuse Mayfield a bit too by occasionally blitzing guys or even dropping guys like Watt into coverage. We also think with this trickery or even just with our 4 DL we can put some pressure on Mayfield as well and contribute to him making mistakes. The Run Defense Strategy: With the Cover 3 we're going to have Vonn Bell up in the box which should help us against Harris, who has been playing well. As usual though we're going to put a lot of trust in our DL to win their matchups in the trenches.
VigilantZombie
Russ seems to be in a downward spiral right now. I like Camden with rhe upset here. 21-
bcb1213
Well Camden went all in to atop the pass with four safeties but Lancaster wisely chose to run the ball here and I think it works. Jlash targets the TE which is wise against a cover three look but ultimately they fall a bit short here as I think Lancaster just out talents them at most spots. Lancaster 27-17

MD4L
Russell is struggling a little and while Diontae is a productive WR, he still has occasional mishaps. I can see Camden getting stops and/or forcing multiple TOs if Russell has to do it all. On the hand, it’s hard identifying issues with the Lancaster pass rush. Though Bolles and Orlando Brown are solid I think the pass rush combo with an elite CB group work together to stop Mayfield from getting into enough of a rhythm where he can do like he did on Sunday. 20-12 Lancaster. Ragnarok
I think the secondary of Lancaster is able to limit the Camden passing attack, but I don't know if I trust the Camden secondary to do the same.
