amazingandre
Let’s start focusing on the new staff. It’s looking like Dorsey and Bieniemy are the leading candidates for GM and HC. I like both, although they have some red flags (everyone will). Who do we poach or bring in for DC, OC and other position needs? I really like the history of Andy Heck, OL coach for KC. Who is Bieniemy and Dorsey connected to for OC and DC? Let’s make connections, because it’s unlikely they bring in someone not connected to them
Pastor Dillon
I think bieniemy is pure fan speculation. I wouldn’t call him the leading candidate. Dorsey is actually getting an interview.

I would rather have Ed Dobbs as GM
jch1911
Hire Mike Borgonzi (KC) or John Dorsey as GM Hire Eric Bieniemy (KC) as HC Hire Andy Heck (KC) as Asst HC / OC / OL coach Hire Jim Caldwell (FA) as Asst OC / QB coach Hire Andre Johnson (FA) or Hines Ward (NYJ) as WR coach Hire Craig Ver Steeg (BAL) as RB coach Hire Mike Bartrum (PHI) as TE coach Hire Teryl Austin (PIT) as DC Hire La’Roi Glover (LAC) as DL coach Hire George Edwards (DAL) or Demeco Ryans (SF) as LB coach Hire Jerry Gray (GB) as Asst DC / Secondary coach Not sure about ST - coaches
Pastor Dillon
Screw it, let’s hire Demeco Ryans as our HC. Couldn’t be worse than the last guy.

To think the most simple transactions like oh lets sign Kareem Hunt or lets pick up Le'von Bell are hard to comprehend for the Texans FO. ET80
I'm going to trust the HC/GM on these decisions, but I'm sincerely hoping for a good OL coach. Given our talent on the OL, the right coach could turn this into an All Time unit.
Texansfan713
Jets fired DC Greg Williams. Yay or nay him being the DC? He was the Browns DC when Dorsey was GM. Edited December 7, 2020 by Texansfan713
amazingandre
No question Williams can coach a good defense and will bring a nastiness to our team, but I would like to see who else becomes available.

tab
stop saying we should consider bad team's scraps like greg williams Edited December 7, 2020 by tab
jch1911
There's a reason the Jets fired Gregg Williams .... an all out blitz with CBs in single coverage and the only way they can beat you is a long pass play

tab
I would maybe consider it if like, Greg Williams and Matt Patricia were great personalities and loved but they both seem like egos that I wouldnt want on this team. Matt is more an ego situation and Greg just feels like, not only been there done that, but also another opportunity to get laughed at by the league I'd rather take on a lesser known name for the position because guys like Matt and Greg are only appealing right now because they're names that people know imo
