BayRaider
How do the Wide Receiver classes keep being so stacked? Chase, Smith, Toney, Brown, Bateman, Waddle, and Marshall are all very solid prospects. I think this class is more top-heavy loaded with 1st Rounders, but not quite as deep overall, although still a phenomenal WR class.

A lot of the internet gushed over him, while still maintaining about a 3rd Round grade. I think majority of the draftnik community had him solidly as a Day 2 prospects. I'm sure there were a few that squeaked him into the first round, but he was largely viewed as a Day 2 prospect.

I don't think he ever performed a full series of athletic testing. So any questions about athleticism weren't answered. And he had no freak physical trait to hang your hat on. Normal size, normal weight. Meantime, Chase Claypool was the 11th WR taken last year. Mims was 13th. Last year was cray cray, and we may find out the next couple years that we don't know how good it was. I was figuring 3rd round was his ceiling. The main reason he had the hardcore fans he had last year, me for sure, was even with the insane depth of class, all his on field analytics were right at the top of the class. Breakout age, catch percentage, market share. Anything to do with actually playing WR, TJ was on every chart. Getting drafted by TB was such a kick in the pants for his prospects. However, he was getting 40-50% snap share by week 6, for a Super Bowl team. I'm still on board with TJ, and right now, he's probably their #3.

Super excited for TJ and he’s probably why we haven’t pushed to re-sign AB this offseason as much as the other guys. Also we tend to not give rookies much playing time on offense, and then the 2nd year turn them loose i.e. Godwin, RoJo, Scotty, Cappa, etc I mean just look at the play that sent us to the super bowl vs GB. Whether you think it was a PI or not, he was in the game in that situation and one of the first reads. Even at his peak, I don’t know if you can start him on offense. He reminds me of Sinorice Moss meets Taylor Gabriel. As Jrry said, Tamorrion Terry is the truth. If you need a deep threat specialist, Terry is basically perfect if you’re looking outside of rounds 1 & 2. Yeah I like Terry a lot too. I think he’s going to end up going earlier than where I want to spend a pick at receiver at the end of the day. for my Browns we don’t need much. I’m looking for the deep ball skill set at the best value. I’m just thinking with our second third rounder Tutu would be perfect. I think Terry is going second round. Tutu looks faster than both Gabriel and Sinorice Moss. I think he’s got some D Jax type speed to him.

goldfishwars
Man, watched a lot of Cornell Powell last night and he might be the best route runner in this class. Nuts that he played so little and looked that refined.

I still think Sage Surratt is gonna be a Mike Evans-like WR.

He is among the best in that regard.

Texansfan713
At Houston's pro day right now. Marquez Stevenson ran a 4.45. Thought he would run faster. He is going to be a stud if he can get better at route running. Edited April 9, 2021 by Texansfan713
Jeezla
Casserly just compared DeVonta to Julio. I've thought Charly was silly for a while now, and this confirms it.

The guy literally couldn’t pronounce Kliff Kingsbury’s name for an entire offseason. He’s washed.
