sdrawkcab321
hot damn. At least let the dude go to RFA first. Another foot injury and he could be done for another year plus
TheRealMcCoy
From Woj's article on the signing: Quote The deal will include some salary cap protection for the 76ers should Embiid sustain injury that causes him to miss significant playing time, league sources said. Not surprising. Hopefully Joel stays healthy cause he's one of the most talented young players in the game.

J-ALL-DAY
So is he going to be ready for the start of the season? Obviously he is a MEGA talent and a true game changer, but this is certainly a risk. I'm sure the 76ers have covered themselves if Embiid can't stay healthy as Zach Lowe alluded too. He plays about 60 games then the 76ers make the playoffs.

Pastor Dillon
I read it somewhere that if he's on the roster he gets all of that money but under some cases he can be cut and the 76ers can get some of that money back. Im guessing if it's something to do with a previous injury the 76ers can get out of the deal
Darkness
Yikes. Regardless of whatever health incentives need to be reached, the 76ers should have been able to re-sign him at a much cheaper price.
Aussie9er
This is either the best move ever made by 76ers or the worst. Max for 31 games crazy
