How many years will the New England Patriots continue to dominate the AFC?

Since 2001, the New England Patriots have been the class of the AFC. They have won 5 Super Bowl championships and 7 AFC championships (Super Bowl appearances) under Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. They have won 14 AFC East titles under Brady/Belichick. How many years will they dominate in the AFC? Three-four years? Next decade, even after Belichick and Brady?

As long as Belichick is there, they will always be a force to be reckoned with across the entire NFL landscape.

This. Even after he retires as a HC, he may take the Auerbach route and stick around as the GM.

Weird timing...

Debateable. People forget because 2014-2016 were huge years where the team looked like the best team in the AFC by a healthy margin, but 2011-2013 the Patriots looked a lot closer to how they look now. Early on they would have a couple close games with opponents they had no business losing to and wouldn't be able to stop a crucial drive towards the end of the game. Then they heat up in October/November and by the end of December they are among the top 2 in the AFC.

Unfortunately, BB is not interesting enough talking to ever have a TV station hire him as a commentator, otherwise, he would likely retire when Brady does. So he may attempt to hang on for a few more years after Brady's retirement, but coaches do not dominate once they lose their franchise QB, it brings them back to the pack unless they are extremely lucky to find another great QB like Walsh did with Steve Young after Montana.

No matter how good you are as a HC and BB is great, you still need players to execute your plans and in football, that means a great QB, without that, a HC can appear to become quite average in a hurry  and thus, he may retire quite soon after Brady does.

Belichick isnt a genius . Who cant coach football? lol at calling any sports coach a genius.

this is obviously the last year. Its over. Its done.

they suck and are getting by on mystique,fairy-tales and unicorns.

Does anyone even actually watch Brady? his balls are slow and flat. He runs like a 60 year old basketball player with bad knees.

its over.

Well, as a Giants' fan who a) was so in awe of Brady and the Patriots that he didn't bother to watch either of the Super Bowls featuring the two teams;  b) was reduced to astounded disbelief when the Giants somehow won both games; and c) have been continually amazed at the Patriots almost-yearly excellence this century, I have to admit it is my belief that the Patriots will dominate until Hell freezes over.

I am doubtful.  Can you imagine being a HC after Belichick? That's bad enough.  And he's sticking around as GM hanging over his shoulder?  Even worse.

Also he'd be grabbing guys that he could maximize or sees value in, but that doesn't mean the HC could keep up with that.

Pretty sure Belichick would choose who succeeds him, so coexistance isn't going to be an issue, especially if his successor is either McDaniels/Patricia.
