Week 14 GDT: Sunday Night Football vs the Steelers!

This was a statement win the bills desperately needed. Back to Back primetime games and they showed up. It may have started off slow but both teams showed their capabilities. There were some moments when the bills were up 16 points that the defense kind of played a bit soft to allow them to drive up the field with ease but honestly this defense has turned the corner and reminds me more of last years defense more so then the beginning of the year. Levi and Turon with huge interceptions after being weak links at certain times of the year by being picked on showed they deserve to start. The offense just elevates itself simply because of Stefon being on the team. With Allen seeming a bit uncomfortable/ not settled in during the first few drives he looked to his safety net and diggs made the plays that were needed and you can see Allen finally believing in himself that he can make the plays even with the constant pressure. For as much blitzing as the Steelers brought last night the oline held up okay, they were getting destroyed at times but to deal with guys like Heyward and Watt they ended up handling it well. I still have concerns with the run game as they only tried 5 rushing attempts in the first half and felt like they could have used them more early on but outside of that this team is in playoff form. With a win against Denver they clinch the East. Also last nights win knocked the Patriots off on being able to get the East which they have locked in for 11 years.

Heyward was a beast and as much spotlight TJ gets this dude needs to be recognized more often. I knew he was good but that man is just an animal out there. I cannot say enough good things about him as he was the toughest person last night to maintain.

For sure. I am just glad Heyward is starting to get the national attention his career has deserved. When we played more 3-4 people just seemed to dismiss his play, but now in the sub package world he gets viewed a little more like a rushing DT.

Really like your squad. Lotta fun pieces. The guy I am most jealous of is Daboll, though. The adjustments you made at the half were tremendous. I thought we had Allen spooked a bit in that first half (or maybe that's just always the way his face looks?), but we couldn't answer the adjustment to the shorter passing game (well, to be fair....we didn't really even try. Our answer to adjustments is to just keep doing what we are doing, but try to do it better). He has done a great job with Josh. Our coaching staff seems to be anti-adjustment. I get frustrated watching good OC's work -- and it feels like you see them everywhere now. But, boy, Daboll is gooooood.

There's a part of me that wants to see you guys again, provided our offense turns around. But I'm not so sure that happens at this point, so....I really hope we don't. Good Luck, gentelmen!

I'm becoming a big Darryl Williams fan. I think he did well against TJ Watt last night.

The buzz around this team is huge now after last nights statement. Were all over social media and TV.

Yes while this is a great thing it also means it will come at a price as he is a FA so what do you do with him moving forward? As well as Feliciano. Another under the radar guy he is capable of playing the RG, LG, and C without missing a beat. While Milano is a likable guy for the fans and he has been very successful, between his position and his injury history you have to think that these 2 guys are ahead of being paid before Milano is, in order to maintain this offense moving in to 2021.

I'm not sure about this. The defensive play when Milano is out compared to when he is in is night and day.

I am not sure I agree on this as the last 2 games could you tell the difference when he was in and when he was not? He only played 16 snaps last week and 26 last night. Is he worth the 10+ mil he will be getting on another team and hoping that he is healthy to play? Dont forget Edmunds will be getting a huge pay day next year (2022 offseason). While I disliked Klein at first the defense was putrid in the beginning and I still am not high on Klein but he has been serviceable. You paid Poyer and tre, you got all these dlineman they paid money for (can be expendable after the year on just about everyone except Oliver and Star financially if you wanted). Then you have Hyde and Edmunds coming up for a pay day in 2022. To me with position and health you have to let Milano walk unless he comes back on a 1 year prove it deal and even then that will be fairly high for a team with only 4 mil in projected cap space. Then you lose out on the 2 guys who are capable of protecting the qb you plan on paying $150+ mil in 2 years. It is going to be a tough journey for Beane to work this thing out but some are going to be lost due to finances.
