Ragnarok
Lancaster Lancaster Offensive Strategy: The scariest part of Singapore's team is their interior pass rush and while we have a good interior OL, it's definitely something that we have to scheme against. We want to focus on a quick passing game with a fast tempo to wear down their DL. When running we want to attack the outside and let Kamara do work. We're going to be using varied schemes today to give Singapore some different looks and really take it to them. We want a fairly balanced attack today with a roughly even split of runs and passes. Base 1 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE: This is going to be our most common package and out regular one. In this package we're going to attack the short and intermediate parts of the field. We want our guys running things like slants or outs where our guys can use their route running ability to create windows. When we run we'll be hitting the outside most often like we usually do. We've got great pullers on the interior so we're going to pull them out and get extra blockers in front of Kamara/Sanders. This is also the formation where we'll take our deep shots in the form of play action passes. We want to use the threat of Kamara to keeps their guys up and allow players to make deep plays. Kamara will also be occasionally staying in the pocket to pass protect. This will be our bread and butter and the main focus of our plan to work with a quick pass game and an overall balanced attack through runs as well. 2 RB, 3 WR or 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE: With these 2 RB packages we want to put Kamara and Sanders in the backfield with Wilson to keep the defense on their toes. We will run some run option stuff from this formation as well as screens to the RBs. We will split or sometimes both RBs out wide to try to get some mismatches on their defenders. Our receiving options will be attacking the intermediate and sometimes long parts of the field primarily while in this formation. With the defense hopefully teasing up against this backfield, we think it can create some deeper openings downfield potentially. Basically this formation will be where we try to confuse the defense by not having a clear point of focus. 1 RB, 2 WR, 2 TE: This is going to be a package we use mostly in red zone situations or short yardage ones. Thomas and Smith are both great red zone options and Thomas in particular is a good blocker. We think this gives us a good setup in the red zone because we can keep the defense guessing as we're not clearly going pass or run. We want to stay pretty balanced in this formation with a mix of runs and passes where we can spread the ball out if need be. Lancaster Defensive Strategy: Singapore has some nice receiving options in Allen and Waller, but it's clear Brady has declined and we think their other receiving options can be limited by our secondary. Meanwhile they have a solid 3 headed beast at RB so that's going to be our defensive focus this week. We want to stop the run and force Brady to beat us. One of the big matchups is going to be in the trenches. We want to have our guys (mostly) play their gaps to help limit the run and trust that they will still beat some guys to get to the QB. The Pass Defense Strategy: We're keeping this one simple with our usual Cover 1 man scheme. Jalen Ramsey will be covering Keenan Allen, Jaire Alexander will cover Gabriel Davis, and Chris Harris Jr. will cover Mecole Hardman/Cole Beasley. Eddie Jackson will be the deep man responsible for any guys who get by their man. We have a talented secondary so while these receiving options can make plays we think our guys match up well with them. Abrams will be playing in the box and covering the RB out of the backfield. For Darren Waller, we're going to have Wagner covering him with some occasional help from Abrams, wherein Warner will take the RB assignment. When Warner is not doing that he will either be blitzing or playing a short zone over the middle of the field. Occasionally we are going to hit the OL with some stunts and stuff to try to get to the QB although as mentioned above, they will mostly be playing their gaps and just trying to beat guys one-on-one. The Run Defense Strategy: Our focus is on the run this week and we've got Abram up in the box. Our DL is going to be playing their gaps and forcing the RBs into the arms of our second level defenders. We also want to rotate in Linval Joseph a good amount, especially on obvious rushing downs to create an impenetrable wall up front With Clark and Joseph. He will probably be playing about 35-40% of the snaps. Singapore SentinelsMotivation - After our normal slow start to a BDL season (1-3), we got hot in the right point of the year and secured a playoff spot a few weeks ago. In our almost 10 years of BDL play we have never advanced past the first round of the playoffs. Tom Brady has never tasted a Bizzbowl victory. This year it’s now or never. We are going to lay it all out on the home field in Singapore. Lancaster narrowly beat us in Week 2 and both teams have evolved since then. We are the healthier and stronger team at the right time in the playoffs. Offensive StrategyFormations: 3-4 WR (50%)/ 2 TE (25%)/ 2 RB (25%) Scheme: Pass (50%) vs Run (50%) Blocking Our OL has been excellent this year and only given up a total of 7 sacks. In addition to keeping Brady upright they are also some of the best road graders for our stable of top tier RBs. Lancaster has a stout DL, but we match up well. We are going to double Kenny Clark with Teller and McCoy to give TB12 a clean pocket. We are bringing in veterean Feiler to take on rookie Kinlaw. All Pro Duane Brown faces off against Joey Bosa. All Pro Jack Conklin gets the task of T.J. Watt but we will occasionally give him help with a chip block from a TE or RB. Rushing The four horsemen ride again! CEH will continue to start but we will use more 2 RB looks with all of the backs. Hunt and Carson will spell him and Conner will handle short yardage/goal line plays. We will use outside zone runs to stretch the Werewolves DL out and set up the pass for Brady with some play action. The versatility of our offensive weapons allows them to line up in multiple spots and give Brady a quick out to move the ball. We are going to remain balanced as usual but want to grind out some time to keep DangeRuss off the field. OW Laviska Shenault Jr. returns to the lineup, getting a Jet Sweep.sprinkled in to use his ability to break tackles and get tough yards to keep the chains moving. Wyatt Teller will pull and lead block. This is the Way. We will be using more 2 TE sets this week to run behind with Fells coming in to get an extra blocker on Watt. Passing Tom will assess the defense and use his incredible processing power to get the ball out quickly. Beasley and Waller are both solid intermediate targets that have the capability to make the most with their catches. In 4 WR sets Cabriel Davis will go along with Allen and Higgins’s route running skills. We will spread them out so get favorable matchups with LB’s on WR’s. Starting out in a base 11 personnel of 3 WR, Keenan Allen and Rashard Higgins on the outsides along with slot WR Cole Beasley to be Tom’s main receivers this week. We know this passing game runs through Allen and Waller but Higgins has earned more playing time. Darren Waller will likely pull extra coverage this week. In 2TE sets we will split him outside to draw coverage away from our other weapons. If he is single covered then the matchup is in our favor. Red Zone Offense In 2 TE sets Waller (6’6) and Fells (6’7) can highpoint balls on corner routes over the shorter Lancaster defenders with a RB sliding out into the flat as a safety valve. Collin Johnson (6’6) also gets some work here and has surged since getting on the field in the last few weeks. In general we are looking to control the ball this week, limit turnovers/mistakes and take our shots when they become available. This is going to be another close one. Defensive Strategy We have faced and beaten Russell Wilson earlier this season when he was a Hood Rat. That was before he cooled off after a hot start to the season. Please continue to Let Russ Cook, we are looking to eat his lunch today. Formation: 4-2-5 Defense Run Defense We have lots of silver bullets on the DL to put pressure on DangeRuss. Aaron Donald and Fletcher Cox clog the middle and get penetration to collapse the pocket and not give Lancaster time to step up and make throws. Aaron Donald is known to be a monster and game wrecker by himself, since pairing him with Fletcher Cox, a beast in his own right, we have one of if not the best interior tandems in the league. They should give the Werewolves OL a spot of trouble. Deion Jones will be a spy on Alvin Kamara in both the run game and pass to limit his impact. It should be hard for Lancaster to get much yardage in the trenches. Bilal Nichols and A’Shawn Robinson will rotate in to keep our dynamic interior duo fresh. Van Ginkel will come in versus heavy run sets if they decide to go that way. Pass Rush Haason Reddick and Preston Smith crash the edges and we will be bringing blitz packages from secondary and backer positions. This should force Wilson to throw quickly and not give his receivers time to develop their routes. The depth off the bench in Golden and Hollins will make sure that Wilson has no time and nowhere to run all day. We will be keeping the pressure on for parts of the game with a safety blitz from John Johnson or linebacker Deion Jones (4 sacks). Jones will Blitz the play-side A-gap by creeping up once the offense begins the cadence. On ball movement, he will blitz the A-gap. When the DE slants out, it should create a free lane for Johnson (SS). Pass DefenseFormation - Press Cover 3 We know DangeRuss likes to throw deep and we will look to take that away this week and trust our guys up front to stop the run and generate enough pressure to force some turnovers. We are going to brackett Mike Evans this week with tall corner Lonnie Johnson underneath and Desmond King over the top. Kyle Fuller will occupy Michael Pittman Jr. with Jonathan Jones covering Diontae Johnson in the slot. These are favorable matchups for us across the board. As stated, Deion Jones will be a Spy on Alvin Kamara for routes in the flat and screens. Jones is one of the best cover LBs in the league and will use his speed to keep Kamara contained. KPL is also a solid cover LB and will get TE duties this week in Logan Thomas. John Johnson will play in a robber role to undercut routes and also occasionally blitz Wilson. Coverage Assignments: · Mike Evans / Lonnie Johnson Jr. - CB & Desmond King FS · Michael Pittman Jr / Kyle Fuller - CB Dionte Johnson / Jonathan Jones - CB · Alvin Kamara / Deion Jones - LB Logan Thomas / KPL - LB

KPL has a 132.4 QBR against, 80% of targets competed against and 5 TDs surrendered this season.

Scoundrel
He didn’t go against a line as good as Lancasters though so a bit of an outlier
VigilantZombie
I trust Lancaster's roster to be able to perform their gameplan better than that of Singapore. 28-17 Lancaster
Scoundrel
I can’t ignore the Singapore trench performance. I do think Lancaster has a good oline but these guys could feast together. Diontae Johnson’s drops and Michael Pittman having potential but being somewhat pedestrian as of late with Jonnu Smiths inconsistency just don’t give Russ enough in the passing game to support Mike Evans and Kamara. They will get theirs but I think the Singapore offense will outpace them. Brady with Waller at TE and a route technician like Allen at WR and a slot guy like Beasley with CEH in the back field is too much in a close one. 24-20 Singapore
RedGold
This was a tough one, I like both rosters and both had excellent gameplans. I went with Lancaster, it was very close though.
Jlash
I think Lancaster has good enough depth that they could've put Ramsey on Waller and essentially erased him, had Alexander on Allen and still had plenty of competent depth to figure out a way to defend the other receiving options. I did consider that but I think my LBs are good enough in coverage and giving occasional help from Abrams would be enough.
bcb1213
The Singapore defensive plan is a hott mess. Shows a cover three zone diagram with no mention of playing cover three. Says they want to take away the deep ball while bracketing one wr and having an underneath safety leaving no one over the top. Wants to blitz occasionally with Jones leaving no one on Kamara in the flats as a hot route Lancaster would have won this in a laugher had they ever brought out a four wide with Perriman and just have him zoom by hall with zero deep On the other side Waller is gonna get his against a zone heavy lb playing man all game but I think the other options get shut down pretty easily. Russ gets a couple scramble big throws against a team crashing the pocket and it's enough here. Lancaster 20-
